Brought my 2019 F 150 in for servicing.

Took my 2019 F150 LMST roush super charged in for service. Had Pauline as my service writer. She was awesome, very friendly. Made sure everything I needed was taken care of. Even called and let me know that it required synthetic oil.

Used Car Consultation Visit

I've heard good things about this dealership from friends and family, but I unfortunately can't say that I had a good experience myself. I was interested in a used Chrysler Crossfire and so made an appointment to come and see it at their dealership. I do admit that the process to make an appointment was easy, and when I arrived the customer service was not bad. However, once we actually had a chance to see the vehicle it was disappointing to find that the image posted for the listing was just a stock image of the vehicle, and did not reflect the shoddy black paint job on the real car being sold - nor the ugly black spray paint the prior owner had used to black out all the chrome finishes and headlights. On top of that, the salesman admitted he didn't know much about the car itself, and when we tried to start it realized that it was a manual when the advertisement listed it as automatic (which is a significant problem for someone like myself who doesn't know how to drive stick). Fortunately I had a family member come along who did know how to drive manual, so he asked about taking it for a test drive at the very least - which we were told we couldn't do since the car hadn't passed state inspection yet so the dealer would be held liable if there was an accident. I understand this policy, I just don't know why we were even allowed to make an appointment to assess the car if they knew we wouldn't be able to test drive it (who buys a car before seeing how it runs?). The salesman himself was polite the entire time, but my last issue would just have to be that he promised to follow up with more information (like when the car actually did pass inspection) and that he would contact me later that same day, but he never did. I can say I was on the fence about the vehicle, but the lack of follow up communication meant I definitely would not be buying it.

Oil change/musty smell in this used vehicle

I had a better experience doing an oil change than dealing with sales people that make promises they can’t keep. Sabrina in service was courteous and professional.

Disappointed Former Customer

I do not recommend any one use Shamaley Ford to service their vehicles. Not only are they the slowest when it comes to getting services done on your vehicle, they have the worst customer service I have experienced in my 41 years. Either their parts and services computer is out dated or the service managers are just plain incompetent. I took my vehicle in for a check engine light on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 9am, after leaving my vehicle for a diagnostic, I finally got a hold of my service representative (Jesse Baird) on Thursday, August 27, at 3pm and was then informed of the problem with my vehicle and given 2 quotes that had a $300 difference in price to fix my vehicle. I reluctantly gave authorization to start the repairs and was told it could take 2 days to receive the part. Today, September 1st starting at 9am, I have been trying all day to get someone on the phone to tell me the status of my vehicle, I have left 3 messages for Jesse and was told I would receive a call back by 2 different service representatives. Finally, at 3pm I tried Jesse Baird on his direct line for the 5th time of the day, only for him to answer and tell me he would check on the status and give me a call back. it is now 5:41pm and I haven't received a call back. I can't believe I have to pay over $800 and track my car down in order to get service at a Ford dealership. El Paso is small but there are a few options when it comes to getting service on my Ford. I will definitely not be patronaging Shamaley Ford in the future. I will drive, drag, or tow my vehicle all the way to Las Cruces, NM if I have to next time. Save your time and energy by going somewhere else other than Shamaley Ford. I am currently shopping for a new truck and was seriously considering buying a 2020 Ford F150 from Shamaley since many years ago i purchased a new 2004 Explorer from them, but due to bad customer service and overall bad business I am now buying a Ram 1500 to ensure I never have to visit their service department. Currently making Tshirts that read "ASK ME ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT SHAMALEY FORD"
