I recently purchased a 2026 Lincoln Aviator from Schomp Lincoln, and unfortunately, the experience has been very disappointing. First, I would caution prospective buyers not to rely on the Aviator's advertised third row if passenger or cargo space is a priority. The third row is extremely limited and not practical for adults, children on longer trips, or pets. If you need a true three-row vehicle with usable cargo space, I recommend considering other options. The buying process itself was also far more time-consuming than expected. Prospective buyers should be prepared to spend most of a day at the dealership. Locating vehicles we wanted to test-drive proved challenging; communication between staff seemed disjointed; and the paperwork process was unnecessarily lengthy and tedious. What should have been a streamlined premium car-buying experience felt inefficient and poorly coordinated. More concerning was the sales experience. During the sales process, we were told the vehicle included features that it does not actually have, including the Lincoln Digital Scent system. After signing the paperwork and asking for a demonstration, other staff members informed us that the Aviator does not offer this feature. We also did not receive a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle's technology, features, or engine components before taking delivery. The overall impression was that the focus was on making a sale rather than ensuring the vehicle was the right fit for our needs. As a result, we now own a vehicle that cannot adequately accommodate our dogs and does not meet the expectations established during the sales process. To make matters worse, we have not received a return phone call or email from sales management, including Kelly Donaldson, despite our attempts to discuss these concerns. Based on our experience, we would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership and are disappointed by both the misleading information and the lack of follow-up after the sale. We also have not received any communication from the salesperson asking about our satisfaction.
