Lexus Carlsbad

I purchased a car from this dealership, I paid the advertised price plus tax and license. The finance department added $899 +Tax for an additional service that I specifically said I don't need any additions, but they did without my consent, it took me over 7 weeks to get back the refund that they were trying not to refund.

Used car manager Jorge tried to tell me that the Lexus I was interested in was traded for only $100 above the lowest price they would go, which is an outright lie as we all know they don't give near top dollar for a trade in. Then when I explained that there are other vehicles for sale right now with same miles and year that are Lexus Certified(theirs is not), he actually said "then why don't you buy one of those". Terribly rude and no people skills. How he got to be a manager is beyond me. I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. It didn't feel like a Lexus dealership, more like a low class used car lot.

We bought a new Lexus from Lexus Carlsbad four months ago and are still waiting on our second key. We have no idea from Lexus of Carlsbad of when to expect it. They are of no help.

I purchased a "low milage" lexus from Lexus Carlsbad Within two thousand miles, I went in to another place for a tire rotation, I was told that the tires were over 10 year old and they could not be balanced or rotated! The car had only 40300 miles on it at the time. Next after spending money for new tires, I had to get a brake job. Seems that the brakes were severely worn. When I purchased the car, the sales person told me that it was in 100% shape and that the brakes had been inspected as well as the entire safety items on the car. Clearely I was LIED to by this dealership.

Had another great car buying experience at Lexus of Carlsbad. This is my 5th Lexus and this time I came out of a lease 6 months early, avoided maintenance and lowered my payments. Dealing with Walid was outstanding. He was open and honest, very forthright about everything. Another very pleasant purchase! Bob Delaney was phenomenal and very personable. went by on a Friday afternoon and was able to finalize a deal in 2 hours from start to finish.

We bought a 2019 NX 300 in silver with black interior on Nov 19, 2018. Bob Delaney worked with us the most with pricing from Randy for Costco members. Bob was great-pleasant, patient and more than helpful with my disabled husband. He went the extra mile to make our experience pleasant. I was not looking forward to purchasing a new car as in the past they have not been pleasant. Although we were there for 5 hours (which is too long)it was well paced until the last hour when we all became tired. Alan in finance was helpful in offering a lease option we hadn't considered which we took. We're so glad that Carlsbad Lexus was a Costco approved agency as we live in Carlsbad and it saved us from running around the county. Thank you.

While searching for a certified pre-owned Lexus, I found Lexus Carlsbad had a 2016 Lexus GX460 (Premium Package) and decided to go visit the dealer to take a test ride and look the vehicle over. The Used Car Manager (Ted) and Salesman (Rick) was nothing less than exceptional service and care. This is my third Lexus (two new, one used) purchase from Lexus Carlsbad since 2005. Why? Because the sales people are not those of typical sale people from other dealers - they are honest and do not apply any pressure to make you feel uncomfortable or push you into a sale. Ted and Rick were the best ever encountered and I truly appreciate their patience answering my questions and working mutually toward the purchase. I purchased the Certified Pre-owned (CPO) 2016 Lexus GX460 (Premium package) that had 35k miles on October 22, 2018 and "enjoyed" every minute with Ted and Rick. I highly recommend you visit Lexus Carlsbad and ask for Ted or Rick (if looking for a used vehicle. I'm sure Rick will have his fruit basket and Ted will have his humor and both will to share with you.
