Why Buy from Fairway Ford? We Offer a Dealership Experience Unlike Any Other
You've probably been around your share of new and used car dealers here in the Placentia CA area. We'll bet each has promised an extensive inventory of the latest new Ford cars trucks and SUVs. We're also sure they've advertised top quality when it comes to used vehicles from among today's many other automakers or even a host of near-new certified pre-owned Ford models to choose from. Sure we can offer those in abundance too. But not every Ford dealership in Placentia has quite what we've got when it comes to an exceptional shopping experience.
Same Owners. Same Location. Serving the Community since 1967.

Horrible dealership.

Horrible dealership. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE! We wanted to terminate our lease early with a vehicle from Ford and lease a new vehicle also from Ford. My husband spoke with Anthony and he was keen to make the deal. My husband goes in and tells him he wants to pay no money out of pocket and terminate the lease early, No problem!! They make a deal. We leave the old car with them and bring the new vehicle home. Surprise surprise , after a few months we receive a bill from Ford credit wanting to be paid for the last 2 payments on the vehicle. Well that’s weird because I ended my lease early and the dealership agreed to pay, they tell us that is something we need to speak to the dealership about. We call the dealership, conveniently for them, inconveniently for us Anthony is never in the office. We finally get a chance to speak with him, he denies making that deal! Why would we leave the car with them if we were not terminating the lease early and ending our payments then?!!! His proof…a mysterious sticky note that says we agree to keep making payments. Bill the sales manager is worthless as well. Bill, Anthony, you guys suck! You are stereotypical xxxxxxx used car salesman! We will never get another vehicle from Ford again.

Bait and Switch

After 33 years of buying cars and trucks from Fairway Ford I was told by the sales manager there is a new regime in place and things have changed. Friday December 16th we did a deal on a new 2022 F250 Platinum for sticker when I came to pick it up Saturday morning they had changed the deal and said it’s now $10000 over sticker. After 2 hours of discussions and having friends and family come down to the dealership to hear it from the sales manager that yes they changed their mind and raised the price by $10000 I gave up. 8 hours later I received a phone call that said ok will sell for sticker. I bought it but the experience was terrible. This had never happened in 33 years. Be aware of the new regime as the sales manager calls it

they rip you off every chance they get agree its a zero

they rip you off every chance they get agree its a zero star dealership out story is this - AAA towed it to Fairway Ford in Placentia, Fairway called me 30 minutes later and Jeff the service writer said they had diagnosed the issue as the power Steering pump and it would cost $1365 to fix it. I called Jeff and said fix it That was around 1PM on 9’8’22 and he told me the car would be ready the next day. I never received a call on Friday 9’9’22. On Monday 9’12’22 I called Fairway Ford and spoke to Jeff to find out when I could pick up my car. He said they had a problem. After installing the new power steering pump they saw a black “ooze” coming out which they have never seen before. He said it looked like someone may have put the wrong power steering fluid in at some time. He said the only way to fix this was to replace the rack and pinion steering mechanism at a cost of $1395 more. I told him that the original estimate was for $1365 after their diagnosis. I asked what my options were and he said I could come pick up the car, which was not drivable, pay the $1365 and have it towed someplace else of have it fixed for $1395 more. At that point I asked to talk to the manager. Two hours later Carlos, Service Manager?, called and explained it to me again, same song and dance. I told him that it was unacceptable ,Carlos said he understood and would call me back. At 4PM he called me back and said that if we would pay for the parts the mechanic would “donate his time” to fix it. I then called you and let you know that the total bill would be around $2100. Again do not use this dealership, they are incompetent or worse they flat out lie.

Dealer Thief

This is a 0 star dealer. After waiting almost 1.5 years for my bronco to finally deliver to the dealer, the dealer has decided not to honor the 2021 price protection put out by Ford Motor Company and charge me the 2022 model pricing. Trying to take another $3k from a customer is not right and this dealer is ruining the Ford name. I was turned off by these guys from when I asked to upgrade to a Ford Bronco Raptor back in November 2021. They said there would be a $30k Markup to make the switch regardless of being an order holder.
