this dealership advertises one price but then adds thousands to the price with hidden fees and "add-ons" which is not listed here or on their site...they wait til they have you ready to purchase then they add to the price. They are deceptive and dishonest.

Check car in per my schedule appointment 831am as I took matters into my own hands to get employee attention- my appointment is 8:15Am so you can see how procrastinating and delay this location is for a Saturday but, there’s is an appointment. (?) I don’t get it either. I had extreme long wait for Recall airbag Service. I used their Text message tool to ask for update- no reply back. I walked around to see if my pilot is being work on? Nope! Each hour passes by. HahahA! Where’s our customer service? Our reassurance?

I leased one car and bought another from Clawson in the last 6 months. I was very happy with both transactions and with the people that worked with me to make the purchases happen. I was looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Clawson. That was then, this is now. I bought my latest car from them the first of February, 2021. I refinanced the purchase the next month with a local credit union. The credit union offered me a better GAP rate so I agreed to buy it and cancel the GAP (and the extended warranty agreements) The credit union drew up the cancelation notices and sent them the Clawson. After several weeks of hearing nothing, I called Clawson 3 times to try to find out if they had received the notice of cancellation. No one took my calls in Finance and no one ever returned my calls or responded to my messages. Then I went there in person and delivered copies of my documents. No on was "available" to see me so the docs were left with the information desk. I waited again for two weeks. No response. At this point I was beginning to get a bit annoyed and so I sent the documents certified mail. (also sent certified to the insurance co.) No response or acknowledgment was ever forthcoming from either party. I must say this is considered to be poor business practice as well as plain rude. This is too bad because I was planning on being a return customer until this happened. Looks like it's time to see a judge and start alerting others on social media to this egregious and perplexing behavior on the part of Clawson Honda

First I want to start by saying thank you to Dulce for being so nice from the start she helped me purchase my car the service here at Clawson Honda was great. The finance part of the deal was also great didn’t have to wait to long and I was out of there with my car within a few hours. I would highly recommend family and friends to shop at Clawson Honda for their new vehicles my next purchase will for sure be at Clawson Honda and I will be asking for Dulce!

They were rude with financing but i still went ahead and purchased the car only to find out my harness had been chewed by mice. They told me to contact my insurance and I let them know they sold me the car like that. They fixed it but they should’ve checked everything worked before they gave it to me or sold it.

New CRV listed for sale on Cars.com. Worked with internet specialist Stephi, who was very high pressure for us to come see and test drive the car, a 2018 CRV Touring AWD model, when we had health issues with a pet, leading to vet visit and having to put the pet down. Notified her, after receiving and accepting offers, transferring money to checking account to buy the car outright, to get the paper work in order and detail the car, we were on our way up north 200 miles to buy the car, after constant emails and text messages the past 20 hours. Almost an hour on the road and 70 miles from home, we get a phone call that the car is no on the lot, it's in their body shop, one of their drivers hit their own car. We told them we'd accept a replacement, but not that damaged white with ivory CRV Touring AWD. General Manager Sean gets involved, says he'll do a dealer trade. This was Sunday. By the following Thursday, they still have no other dealerships that will trade with them, no solution. Don't answer the phone, don't follow up. I don't think other dealerships want to do dealer trades with Clawson Honda, for what ever reason. I will never do business with them again, had to put a stop payment on a payment in full check with them, they didn't fulfill their end of the agreement. Can not recommend them, worst dealership I've ever tried to work with. I'm quoting them "in the interest of transparency".... yeah, how about that transparency, how about you put your hand on the car in the lot first. Still unclear if it's a bumper damaged, of the whole rear quarter panels, or front fenders or doors that were damaged in their own parking lot, but it's no longer a new car. Sounds like repair paint to me. Both people that worked with me lost their commission. Absolutely huge waste of 420 miles on my car round trip and hours and hours of my time. Proceed with peril, at your own risk.
