Flim flam. Sales presentation is what you would expect from a used car sales people. Big talk, no follow through. They do NOT have a working definition of. What a warranty is.

this dealership advertises one price but then adds thousands to the price with hidden fees and "add-ons" which is not listed here or on their site...they wait til they have you ready to purchase then they add to the price. They are deceptive and dishonest.

Check car in per my schedule appointment 831am as I took matters into my own hands to get employee attention- my appointment is 8:15Am so you can see how procrastinating and delay this location is for a Saturday but, there’s is an appointment. (?) I don’t get it either. I had extreme long wait for Recall airbag Service. I used their Text message tool to ask for update- no reply back. I walked around to see if my pilot is being work on? Nope! Each hour passes by. HahahA! Where’s our customer service? Our reassurance?

I scheduled my appointment for recall airbag service as of Saturday 6/11/22 for 8:15AM. Lots of cars in line earl morning. I had to get off my car to get service attention because it’s past my appointment time- haha! My vehicle got checked-in by 8:31AM and we are waiters bc we feel the appointment would serve customer in what we all felt trust in Great service. Nope! It’s way after our 10AM promised Time . I texted the Service Advisor wanting update… no reply. Would I return here? Sharing our experience so that you now know. Haha!

I bought a car here, everything went smoothly (at least it was at the moment of buying the car). It wasn't until afterward that I learn the flaws of this dealership. 1)Lies. I wasn't expecting much from this, but it was the salesperson who told me that they would put gas in my car, wash it, and clean it. That was a lie, when I was already driving home, I realize that there was no gas inputted into the car at all. She literally gave me xx, they probably didn't even wash the car or do anything to it. 2) Broken crap. Afterward, I went to make another key copy of the key since I was only given one. Turns out, the key I have does not unlock the door, physically. I basically bought a new car that I have to waste my own money on to fix the already broken door. I wasn't even notified of this and I had to find out on my own. 3)The finance manager, Debra screwed up on the paperwork and needed my SSN a whole week later. I wasn't gonna give my personal info through phone or email so I told her to come to get it from my place, as I wasn't gonna drive across town to a place that screwed me over. Get this tho, everything was a done deal, I didn't even need to deal with them at all. 4) Matt Roberts, the Relationship Development Director reached out to me regarding my keys and said it would be an easy fix and he will help me just so I change my reviews. I agreed and was told he would contact me in three days, he never did. A week later, Lois from the service department contacted me regarding the issue. Turns out the key guy only works weekdays which sucks since I work weekdays. In the end, I made an appt on 12/9/21 at 9 AM and took off that day from work. That morning I decided to call and confirm my appt as I have dealt with xx in the past. Guess what, turns out she said my appt was the next day which I denied as I remember I said Thursday and ask if I can still bring in my car or not. She said I can still bring in my car as a walk-in. xxx? I had and made an appt for a reason. I was really pissed off and explain my key issue. She then took a long xxx pause and then said "Oh I'm sorry there's a glitch in the system as your number didn't go in" and put me on hold for a good 3 to 4 minutes. She came back saying "the key guy isn't in until 3 PM" and if I can wait till then. xxx! Then why did she make that appt with me before?! I was frustrated and just dismiss it, wanting to know how the process of fixing my key will be as I already bought another key and I don't want that key to go to waste. She gave me the xx run around and told me she will call the key guy and ask him if he can come in earlier. She called back at 12PM and told me that the 'key guy' now apparently works only on Thursday at 3 PM. WOW~ suddenly his hours changed from last week when I made the appointment. This place is ridiculous! Their EE's certainly is keeping this place top-notch to the level of the ground. Don't waste your time and money on this place! They certainly will work hard to get the money, but if you have anything wrong with it afterward, they don't give a crap regarding it. That's partly the reason why the rating for this dealership is so low. Guys, do your research and go elsewhere.

I leased one car and bought another from Clawson in the last 6 months. I was very happy with both transactions and with the people that worked with me to make the purchases happen. I was looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Clawson. That was then, this is now. I bought my latest car from them the first of February, 2021. I refinanced the purchase the next month with a local credit union. The credit union offered me a better GAP rate so I agreed to buy it and cancel the GAP (and the extended warranty agreements) The credit union drew up the cancelation notices and sent them the Clawson. After several weeks of hearing nothing, I called Clawson 3 times to try to find out if they had received the notice of cancellation. No one took my calls in Finance and no one ever returned my calls or responded to my messages. Then I went there in person and delivered copies of my documents. No on was "available" to see me so the docs were left with the information desk. I waited again for two weeks. No response. At this point I was beginning to get a bit annoyed and so I sent the documents certified mail. (also sent certified to the insurance co.) No response or acknowledgment was ever forthcoming from either party. I must say this is considered to be poor business practice as well as plain rude. This is too bad because I was planning on being a return customer until this happened. Looks like it's time to see a judge and start alerting others on social media to this egregious and perplexing behavior on the part of Clawson Honda
