Last service visit

I have been coming to Manly Honda for years. However, this last visit was the worst I have experienced. I spoke to three people before my appt regarding getting a rental and if it was ok to drop my car off in the morning even though my appt was in the afternoon (as my father was in the hospital and i needed to help out with things). I was told by all three people no problem. When I arrived at 10am to drop off for my 2:30pm appt the lady with the clipboard that greeted me was rude and told me she didn't know if I could be checked in with Ron Timms who was my service provider. I sat and waited 40 minutes and finally went back to the same woman and she talked with Ron. She also told me she didn't know if I could get a rental which I was told would also not be a problem. Then I asked about the shuttle and was told no shuttle. I planned on calling Uber as I needed to leave. Ron finally called me over and checked me in and said they could call Uber and it would be $5 each way. Fine. He wrote time promised 2:30pm so I was appreciative of that. He never called me to let me know my car was ready or that they were running behind or that I had a bulb out and oil leak etc. I would have liked to have had at least the bulb taken care of. When I got back after calling to find out my car wouldn't be ready until 5pm which I said I had an appt to be at he said they could have it by 4:30pm. 4:50pm and I had to go to his desk to find out. He went over what they found but said he didn't know if they changed the bulb or not (which they hadn't). Just not a good experience as I usually receive. Not sure if I will be back.

Could be be better

Was not sure which car I wanted but was discouraged from test driving other cars. The salesman was polite and answered all questions. After going through the car lot quickly I had to wait a long time for the paperwork to be completed. My biggest complaint was not being shown how to use the technology in the car which I purchased. Although my car has an owners manual unfortunately the instructions for setting up the radio system are not for my model. I also had a problem with the TPM system while driving home. This could have been prevented if the spare tire had been checked.

Well Taken Care Of

As Always, I was well taken care of and the care was serviced well The service I was receiving was a larger one and I was offered a complimentary car for the day, which I declined, as I had brought my computer so I could continue to work while I waited in a very pleasant atmosphere. When I retrieved my car it was clean and ran well and my broken window mechanism was fixed, as well.

Great service by Dan!

Dan was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. He showed me details of my service, and he also previewed upcoming service needs for my Honda Odyssey. He answered all of my questions and made sure that I understood my options.

Easy transaction and extremely patient.

Buying a car is never simple, but everyone at Manly made it easy! Everyone was extremely patient and friendly. Would definitely recommend Manly for anyone looking for a new or used car.

I brought my CRV in for service and needed a rental car....

I brought my CRV in for service and needed a rental car. Jennifer Crouch was very professional, friendly and courteous. She explained the Rental terms and the SUV’s operation. She made my rental car experience easy. Thank you!

Quick Service & Super Friendly Service Advisor

Brought my car in for same day service. Expected to spend the day at the dealership and they had me out by 11AM. Tracee was my advisor and very friendly and helpful during the service. Didn't walk out with tons of more services needed, so happy about that!

Not so great customer service initially

Hi - we did night drop service. I received a phone call asking where I left my keys as they couldn't find them which really concerned me...they then discovered that they were given to Jesus and the rep apologized for the mixup. Jesus was assigned to our service initially and was probably the worst customer service we have experienced at Manly. We have been servicing our cars for over 20 years with Manly and Jesus was by far the worst advisor we have had. We questioned pricing and let Jesus know that we've worked with Bill Robertson in the past which frustrated Jesus and said he'll pass our paperwork to Bill. After an hour, we called back and the paperwork was still not passed on to Bill by Jesus. This is not acceptable when all we needed done was an oil change and in the meantime, our vehicle is sitting with no service. However, once Bill was involved, things moved VERY quickly. Bill is an amazing advisor - he explains the entire service and what needs to happen in the future. He is very patient and going forward, will ALWAYS ask for him.

Car purchase
