Horrible Salesman
I purchased a car within the past year from AutoMax, the sales process was of course fast and was almost rushed to get me to sign. After talking down the price and interest rate I purchased the car. Sal the sales guy was nice and helpful, however after the purchase was made and when I needed things fixed that sal promised they would do for free and had questions about oil changes he would never return my calls or emails. Finally after coming in to get something fixed I was hustled saying they wouldn't fix it. I had to show proof of emails explaining how they were to fix these problems for free. Things finally got fixed however I did see Sal a few times while waiting for my car and he never even acknowledged me... He must be on to his next greasy sale. The service department was very nice however.

horrible dealer/owner
These ppl do not care about anything. they have ruin a perfectly good street/neighborhood. Cars are parked everywhere and the employees are downright NASTY. Someone dear to me purchased a vehicle there and its nothing but junk. Too many repairs in a short period of time and they won't take responsibility,

I dont usually do this but I thought everyone that even thinks about going to this dealership should rethink that decision. This is BY FAR the WORST all around dealership I have EVER been to. To begin, I went here looking at a certain car I found online and upon bringing it to me to test drive 3 out of 4 of the rims were destroyed and the rugs were black (supposed to be beige). I mentioned the rims and was told they usually dont fix that because its "used." Next, we discussed my trade and he gave me a BEYOND low ball offer and when I opened the discuss for negotiation he then asked me what I owe on my car. That is irrelevent as I put down a significant down payment. After a long conversation he agreed to give me $18,000 on my trade but we could not meet halfway on the price of the car under interest. About a month later I saw they dropped the price of the car by $1,000 so I thought it was worth a phone call and was reassured by the salesman (JD) that I would be buying a car that day. I drove 45 minutes to Framingham to retest drive the car (which was now missing a side view mirrow) and was sat down and told they were now only going to offer me $16,500 for my car, $17,000 at most. I immediately mentioned we had a deal on the value of my trade and the two men (inlcuding JD) said they dont recall agreeing to this figure. I then stated because they had not sold the car yet (had been sitting on the lot since February, 4 months) they reduced the price by $1,000 and they are trying to recoupe that loss by lowering the value of my trade by $1,000 ($18,000 to $17,000). The manager (never got his name, chubbier guy with a tan) merely shrugged his sholders. The truth of the matter was I was willing to go down to $17,500 on the trade (due to the month that lapsed from my initial visit) but when the manager went back on his word it rubbed me the wrong way. I understand the car buying process is not an enticing experience by any means but these men went back on their word and everyone knows that is just bad business. If they were dishonest and manipulative about the value of my trade, what else would they lie about in regard to the vehicle. I would not reccomend anyone to every pay these con artists a visit, they are rude, phony and though their cars are (at times) priced decently they are not in good condition (i.e. destroyed rims, stained carpets and missing side view mirror). Everyone elses comments on this dealship are nothing but the TRUTH, they deserve a 0 and I would be happy to give them this rating if I could.

I was in need of a new car. My father recommended them as he had purchased through them. The facility was in pristine condition. It was a very neat and tidy place. Everyone was friendly and willing to help. I didn't have to ask once for help. I was working with Paul DiCarlo who is by far one of the friendliest car salesman I have had the pleasure to work with. He never got angry, or impatient when I was test driving vehicles. He was extremely funny and pleasant. He was very patient and specifically said, "Take your time. I want you to pick the car YOU want and feel great with." We even left the Framingham store to go to the Marlboro store because that's where some of the cars I wanted to test drive were. He took us in his vehicle and was able to hold conversation with us (my father, and my fiance) like he was our friend! He knew what he was doing and made sure I had all knowledge of everything I needed to know. I have already recommended several people to him specifically because of his great customer service. What other salesperson do you know that patient? Not to mention how affordable their prices are! I got a 2011 Dodge Nitro with 31,000 miles on it for under $17,000. Fantastic. Dan in the finance dept. was unbelievably knowledgeable. He made sure I knew everything about everything and didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. He was well spoken and spoke with confidence and from experience. He was able to help get me a great deal on financing. These guys are the real deal. Go to them. You won't be disappointed.

Problem with car
Salesperson was nice. Signing the paperwork and picking up the car took literally hours longer than anticipated. (This was partly because of my insurance company, however) Then, there is an issue with the car I bought that was not taken care of. I have been back once and I have to go back and leave it for a day. They are not providing me with a rental car, only if they keep it for more than one day. Such a hassle that makes this purchase regrettable.

Although in the beginning the customer service was great, Automax never followed through with their promise. After spending $35,000 on a BMW X5, I was promised a free second key. Multiple phone calls to Robbie and a month and a half later, still no key. The lack of professional ism and salesmanship have been incredibly frustrating. I'm dealing with BWM from now on.

Excellent experience!
I recently bought a Chevy Trailblazer from Automax, Framingham & received excellent service. My salesman was Paul DiCarlo & was extremely helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. I also had the same type of service from Bill with regards to the financing of the auto. I highly recommend Automax, Paul & Bill to my friends & family for their auto needs. Regards, Cyrus

Outstanding!
I recently purchases an Audi Q5 and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Paul Dicarlo was my sales person and he was knowledgeable about the inventory, the car I purchased, and making the transaction happen seamlessly. Paul made buying a car enjoyable! I love my car. Thanks Paul.

My wife n I were in search for a vehicle n just driving along rte 9 decided to stop @ automax. As we were looking around a salesman approached us n introduced him self as Isaac. What a gentleman, very courteous n friendly. We were still undecided, but he was able to convince us. So we ended buying an honda accord 2010. He took care of everything. We were very impressed n pleased with Isaac.
