Rude and incompetent service staff. If you can take your car ANYWHERE else, do it. Quoted one price for service - charged much more and blamed me and my daughter for "mishearing" original quote. Service "Manager" was rude and condescending.

I was getting my 2017 Tiguan serviced last week. While I was waiting, I asked to speak to John because he had sent me some trade in offers that I wanted more info on. I wasn’t planning on getting a new car, but I knew that I was at that sweet spot, where I could either keep my current car and spend money on maintenance, or trade it in while it still holds value. Let me tell you, I was nervous!! John immediately eased my fears and introduced me to Danielle, one of the newer sales agents. From there, I sighed a breath of relief and explained my budget and needs for my next car. Danielle listened with care and compassion. I intended to upgrade to a new Tiguan, but when I sat in the one that was in the showroom, we both realized I might need a different car, because the 2025 Tiguan seemed much bigger than my 2017(I am a shorter person with some vision issues). Danielle then suggested the 2025 Taos. As soon as I sat in that car, I knew it was going to be the model for me. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, peak traffic time. I was nervous to test drive it. Danielle suggested we take it to a local parking lot. She drove and I took the wheel when we got to the parking lot. She explained all of the features and technology. I was tempted to purchase the car that day, but I took the weekend to think about it. No hassle, no pressure. On Monday, I went back to Speedcraft. I had worked my budget and was ready to negotiate. John and Mohammed worked together to get me into my new car. I got a more than generous trade in amount and a monthly payment that was in my budget. I’ve never leased a car and had endless questions. My team of 3: Danielle, John and Mohammed were patient in explaining and answering each of my questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. John recognized that I have been a loyal customer for about 25 years, and said “you’re family”. After this experience, that has never seemed so true!

The entire staff at the dealership were helpful, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. I felt like they worked as a team which made it easy to get someone’s time and get answers!

Lilah, John and the entire team at Speedcraft Volkswagen in Wakefield RI are simply the best! I drove from Atlanta to RI to trade in my 2022 Taos for a new 2025 and the drive was well worth my time. I trust them! They ordered my perfect ride & handed it over shinny & new. Even made my puppy, Scoops, feel right at home. I highly recommend entrusting this team with your next purchase.

My wife and I had a great experience with John Devine and his team. A very professional group! They were excellent to work with. Really know their stuff, proactive and extremely courteous. We never had such a good experience buying a car anywhere else. Can't recommend them highly enough. They never forced anything on us, listened to what we were looking for and got us just that. They also took to the time to educate us on certain aspects of the cars we were looking at and did their best to get us the best deal possible. A very enjoyable experience. 10 stars!!!

1st off do yourself a favor and filter on all of their one star reviews. You will see a clear pattern emerge. SPEEDCRAFT VOLKSWAGEN DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE CARS THEY SELL OR THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP BUT PARTICULARLY DON'T BUY A CERTIFIED PREOWNED VEHICLE FROM THEM. READ MY REVIEW AND THE 1 STAR REVIEWS AND YOU WILL SEE WHY. If you want a reliable car DONT SHOP HERE!! If you want service that a company will stand behind DONT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! If you want to be treated with any respect whatsoever DO NOT STEP FOOT INTO THIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a certified preowned 2018 Tiguan from Speedcraft. Had it serviced at Speedcraft. I had it serviced in December of 2024. I Was called by my service agent and told the car was all set and ready to go $1500 later. Drove it for 1 hour engine light goes on makes a funny sound upon starting. Had it towed back. AAA guy said when he tried to start it sounds and smells like there is no oil in it. (I had just paid for an oil change and multiple other repairs). Called Speedcraft a few days later and they said the oil (which they had just changed) had metal shavings in it and the motor was shot and it would be 15,000 for a new motor and turbo. I went in to talk to the service department about what happned. This car was purchased as a Certified Pre-Owned from Speedcraft and service exclusively at SpeedCraft including all oil changes being done within 200 miles of when they were due. The parts manager blamed us. She was rude and disrespectful. Including to my son who is a mechanic in the Navy and his girlfriend who was with us who is a mechanic in the Army. I asked to speak to the General Manager and the Service manager lied and said she was the general manager. I told her I was stopping payment on the charge. She said it was my fault and there was nothing she could do. By the way in addition to not standing behind their products or service be prepared to hear Speedcraft blame any problem with you car on you. They are never wrong in their minds and their products never fail in their minds. As I left the dealership the service managerapproached my car and banged on the window and said we won't release your car until you stop the stop payment. I spoke the the general manager who was at least polite but told me it was a problem with the car that Volkswagen built and to call Volkswagen Corporate. I spoke with them and they said it was a dealer problem. My daughter (a nursing student) went to get her belongings out of the car and was told they would only return her stethoscope but nothing else (clothes, etc) until we paid the bill for them destroying the car. They destroyed my car, took zero accountability. They still won't release my destroyed car to me. This is the single worst company I have ever dealt with. If you want horrible service, a bad product you have found your place. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!!

Really friendly staff! Sean Yankocy was our salesperson. We went in to discuss purchasing a pre-owned VW, and after discussing finances, ended up trading in our GMC truck and left with 2 new jettas for the same monthly payment. Sean was great - completely no pressure, no rushing, listened to us 100%. When we decided on going forward they made the whole entire process very quick and painless. Would definitely refer Sean and Speedcraft to anyone.

I found myself needing a new (used) car and after searching online I found two at different dealerships that I thought might work. I checked out both dealerships and test drove both cars - and either one would have worked for me. But what sold me was the professionalism and respect that I received from Shannon at Speedcraft compared to the other sales person at the other dealership. I can't recommend Shannon and the team at Speedcraft VW enough! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the entire experience one to remember. I'm sure I'll eventually need another car in the future. When I do, I'll be heading back to Speedcraft and will ask for Shannon. Thank you!!

Recently I found my ideal car at speedway. Being an impatient women, I immediately drove to there to get my car. Daniel Burden is who I primarily worked with and I got to say I did not make things easy for him… I’m not an easy woman to deal with, especially when things don’t go perfectly. Dan was more than accommodating, kept excellent communication, and despite my demanding nature, he remained kind and patient. He bent over backwards and made everything I needed to happen, happen!! I highly recommend speedway and their amazing service.
