About our dealership

This seller has been on Cars.com since December 2023.
At Suburban Subaru we pride ourselves on our ability to meet your needs. While the current popularity and resulting high demand of Subaru vehicles has made some Subaru models hard to come by our professional sales staff will do everything we can to ensure that you get behind the wheel of your desired Subaru. And we understand why Subaru's are in such high demand. Subaru is the only manufacturer with IIHS Top Safety Picks for all models two years in a row. Add in the fact that Subaru was awarded the industry's highest predicted resale value by ALG and Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com.

Service department doesn't write anything down when you

Service department doesn't write anything down when you explain the problems. Then when they call, they blame everything on not using them for service or OEM parts. Blower fan wasn't blowing a lot of air through the vents, they said blower motor, actually the cabin filter was old and filled with debris. A/C wasn't blowing cold air, they said need a complete new system, actually the system had low pressure added coolant and 3 years still ice cold in 100 degrees weather. My list goes on with brakes where they just add grease on top of grease. Transmission never need to change the fluid, yes you do actually. They just replace parts, don't listen to the customer describing the problem. I question them doing tires and oil really. They don't stand behind any repair so you just keep wasting money when you can probably do what they do yourself.

just bought my third Suburu from Suburban and honestly I

just bought my third Suburu from Suburban and honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else. salespeople are knowledgeable and no pressure. Amanda was my salesperson and was very patient as I looked at multiple vehicles and then she found me my perfect one. Finance lady was also great...found me an amazing rate AND a discounted bumper to bumper warranty for 9 years (Not that any of my Suburus have needed it: 8 years with my last Forester and no issues at all) a really wonderful experience with this team

Bought 2023 Crosstrek.

Bought 2023 Crosstrek. 10 weeks later came in for oil change, then I’m told needed new tires. Dealership sold me a car with the worst tire rating . They will not replace tires, just a discount on new tires. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

Everything went very smoothly.

Everything went very smoothly. They had the vehicle I was looking for. The salesman, Ed W. was knowledgeable, customer friendly and patient. We were buying this vehicle for our business so a little more involved. The vehicle was nicely cleaned, prepared and even had a tank full of gas. I plan on going back and working with Ed on a personal vehicle.

Poor customer service and the sales team is not

Poor customer service and the sales team is not organized. Wasted @ 2 hours this morning trying to lease a vehicle that they advertised on television. They are misleading about the advertised deal. Suburban would not enter all my income into the system and then they told me I didn't qualify for the car because of my credit score. I told them all my bills were paid, and the credit report was incorrect. They would not give me figure for the deal I was looking for. The sales team was very vague and trying to make me come up with a ton of cash to get the car and the amount was not reducing my monthly payment. They could not explain how the down payment would affect my monthly payment. It seemed shady and the salesperson kept going back and forth to the sales manager. They were trying to sell me a car that wasn't the color I was looking for. I believe there was some false advertising and bait and switch going on there. It was an unconfutable feeling, and I plan on shopping elsewhere in the future.

Can I give 0 Stars?

Can I give 0 Stars? Wanted to reach out and let everyone know what an utter disappointment it has been to work (or try to work) with this dealership. I was looking forward to doing business with Suburban but based on the awful management and business practice, that will never happen!!! A summary of my issue. I have been searching for a used Frontier for several months, but wanted to deal with a “car dealership” versus these dealerships that deal on auction cars to make sure I was getting good service and reputable product, well based on this experience with Suburban I would have been better off dealing with these other auction dealers. I test drove the vehicle late last week and was asked to put a deposit on it, which I didn’t want to do (should have gone with my gut), but later that day I decided to place a $500 deposit on it online. Come to find out the vehicle was put for sale on the lot without going through an inspection. This morning received word that the vehicle can’t be sold due to “needing too much work”. How can a dealership purchase then place a vehicle on the lot for a certain price without knowing what is needed to sell it, then cancel the sale because it needs too much work? Seems kind of odd to me, maybe an ulterior motive for backing out of the sale on our their part (higher offer)? Here is the text I received form the salesman today. [Needs it's a laundry list. brakes everything, front, back and e brake also exhaust, steering rack, rear tailights, and other stuff totaling nearly 4k in shop at our cost. Just unfortunate. I hate to lose ya as a potential customer. Not trying be be malicious, just a bad circumstance. The refund process had started. Again apologies.] Stay away other options for used vehicles or even a new Subaru!!

Bart, we apologize for the experience you had with us here at the dealership. As you know, the vehicle you put a deposit on had not yet been through our safety inspection. Upon completion of the inspection, we realized the vehicle required excessive work and was not safe for the road. We, therefore, deemed it unsellable. We kept you aware of the situation as it unfolded and returned your deposit expeditiously. I understand you also spoke with senior management, who also expressed their apologies. Based on that conversation, we are actively looking for a vehicle that fits your requirements, but as you know, it is a tough find.

Pretty good salesman's, parts personnel and technician.

Pretty good salesman's, parts personnel and technician.. The answering service is hospitable.. Just purchased my 2024 Subaru Forester…. And my 2012 Subaru Outback still running like a champ.

I will never forget my experience there when I was

I will never forget my experience there when I was shopping for now 24 year old Subaru Forester. The salesman tried to strong arm me into buying from them. Would not honor the Triple A no haggle price quote even though they had the symbol displayed. Also told me if I didn't buy there that the parts manager might not be to anxious to get me parts I might need in the future. Needless to say I purchased my Subaru elsewhere. Hopefully they are under better management today.
