I had a very frustrating experience with the service department while bringing in my Toyota Camry for a scheduled transmission fluid change. My appointment was set for 9:00 AM, and I arrived on time. I was told the service would take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After waiting over two hours (around 11:06 AM), I had to ask for an update myself. Instead of a clear answer, I received a service link at 11:22 AM listing additional recommended work. Then, at approximately 11:45 AM, I was finally informed that the transmission fluid service I originally came in for had not been performed at all due to a lack of equipment or parts. This was extremely disappointing. If the service could not be completed, I should have been notified much earlier—certainly within the first hour—not after nearly three hours of waiting. I ended up leaving with no work completed, which was a major inconvenience and a poor use of my time. Better communication and basic scheduling awareness would have made a big difference. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service department.

There Service Department are crooks ..Never let a woman go there for service alone..They will try to sell her all unnecessary service and rip her off doing it ...My wife went for her free oil change and left with a $1,600 bill ...They charged her $700 for a front door Actuator (the part is $59),$300 for a battery,$400 for differential fluids, and $200 for a brake flush xxx. I learned a huge lesson, never let my wife go for Service alone. They will learn a lesson here, because I will tell everybody about my experience there.I was going to purchase 2 vehicles here for my kids for college but after this I will never step foot in that rip off place again ...Beware of the crooks at Colonial Toyota of Milford Service

Sixta Espinal was very professional and knowledgeable of the product line that she sells. She was able to satisfy all my automotive needs. Our car was ready when we got there she went over all the features with us. She is an asset to your staff and a true professional.

I called in regards to a certified used car they were advertising on the Cars.com app. They had the car, but it was being advertised for $9,000 less on the app than what they were actually selling it for. I was told it was a different departments problem but they’d be happy to still sell me the car for the actual price they were advertising it for. I’m not sure if it was a ploy to get people to call in but it wasn’t the best experience.

In January we purchased a used Toyota Sienna, about 6 months down the line we began to have issues with the push start where the car would start and shut right off. After 4 visits to service, a battery change, and loss of employment due to transportation issues. We were advised the issue was due to faulty wiring from a previously installed and removed remote starter. After picking the vehicle up, the radio, navigation, Bluetooth, etc no longer works. We are then told we are responsible for replacing the unit although it was fine when it went into the service department. I would not recommend Colonial Toyota to anyone! I have never had an issue with the 3 other Toyota vehicles that I have owned. I am currently looking into getting rid of our van due to all of the inconveniences.

This is our 3rd vehicle from Colonial Toyota and our 2nd from our sales person Anthony Mao. We actually look for Anthony, he makes us feel comfortable and this time he had some great advice. We were originally in the market for a used Highlander coming off a lease because that's what we could afford. Anthony discussed possibly leasing instead of purchasing and brought to our attention a lot of the benefits of going the lease route. After going home and doing some research of our own and talking to some friends we decided to lease a 2017 Highlander XLE. We were able to get a brand new vehicle instead of a used one. Anthony was able to answer all of our questions about the vehicle and worked with my wife on picking out the color. Going with Anthony's advice we went with the pearl white exterior with black interior. We then sat down with Kasey Curran and he explained all of the details of the lease and answered all of our questions. After doing my own research I thought I had the lease language down and understood the complexity of how a lease works, which by the way is probably the biggest reason why people buy over leasing, but Kasey was able to explain how a lease works and made it simple to understand. He took his time and answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable with our decision. We look forward to 3 years from now when we get to pick out a new vehicle. Hopefully Anthony Mao is still selling cars. To make thing even better I can't wait till Lenny Pue our service consultant, who we've been dealing with since 2002 and serviced our 2000 Camry XLE, sees our new Highlander. We really trust Lenny and bring all of our Toyota's to him to get serviced. He makes sure our vehicles are well maintained and safe for us to drive in. Never pressures us to make a purchase that isn't necessary and always works within our budget. Absolutely love Colonial Toyota!

We went in to look at 2 used vehicles. They were quick to let us test drive both and gave us good overview of both. One was a Toyota, the other was not. There was no pressure either way. We ended up purchasing the Toyota that day. The process was easy and there was no haggling about the price as promised. We had our one year old with us and there were very accommodating. We'd go back to purchase another car here.

From their website: The One Associate means that you deal with one Sales Person from the beginning to the end of your purchase. Really? I dealt with THREE before we even talked numbers (which we didn't): The Internet Manager, the person who took me on the test drive (who did not know the car well), and the Salesperson/manager? I don't know since all I got was the name, no business card? Who was next, the closer?

The only reason I am giving Colonial Toyota a high 3 star review is because Judi Rovinelli was pleasant and courteous, her Manager Dan Pagan on the other hand was not. I understand that a dealership needs to sell as many cars as possible in a month but if you are a no haggle dealer then don't haggle especially if you make it a point to mention that several times throughout the process. We where in the market for a new Corolla and Colonial Toyota was the first place we visited at the end of October. We gave it a few weeks and after checking out other dealerships we decided to call Judi Rovinelli at Colonial because we enjoyed our experience with her. After agreeing on a price with Judi we mentioned that we wont be able to come in for at least a week and a half because of our work schedules. Remember this is a no haggle dealer. Judi said that it was fine and it wont be a problem. A few days later Judi called me just to follow up and make sure we are on schedule and on that same day we got another call from her stating that her manager Dan Pagan out of the blue said that if we don't do the deal that day then they will not honor the price we agreed on. What happened with waiting a week and a half and what happened to the no haggle dealership? They mentioned that all the paperwork can be done over the phone and via email but I explained that I was at work and my fiancee (who the car is for) was working at the hospital and doesn't have the time or access to do this but this just fell on Dan Pagan's deaf ears. I told Judi that I am not going to be pressured into buying a car and please keep in mind that Judi was wonderful and she is not the issue here and I feel bad that she couldn't get the sale from us. Because of this I went on truecar.com and found Westchester Toyota with a much better price (few hundred less) and all around real friendly no pressure staff. I told Westchester Toyota that because of our work schedules we wont be able to come back for a week and guess what, no pressure phone calls later on that week to force us to close the deal earlier. We ended up buying the car with Westchester Toyota instead. Again Judi at Colonial Toyota was great and is very courteous and pleasent to deal with but Dan Pagan her Manager is the one who made Colonial lose the sale and we can all thank him for making the deal go sour. If you every go to Colonial Toyota make sure to deal with Judi Rovinelli and be cautious with Dan Pagan.

While we thank you for your kind words about Judi, the additional feedback you provided is definitely worrisome on our end. With our No Haggle One Associate approach, we strive on embracing a transparent and more family-like atmosphere. However, that seems to not be the case here. Since I work directly in the marketing department, I'm a bit outside of the sales realm but I still want to make sure that all of our customers are content. Please reach out to me directly if you'd like to discuss anything further. I hope to hear from you soon. Gloria Powers Marketing 203-878-7401 x 320
