My husband and I were researching cars and had it narrowed down to three: the Honda CRV, a Kia Sportage or a Jeep. We had already test driven a Honda and knew we liked it but we wanted used and hadn't seen any that we loved aesthetically. We were driving to the shore and saw the Honda sign and decided to stop. Long story short: we never bothered to test drive the other cars. Why bother when you stumble upon reasonably priced used cars that are BASICALLY new? As soon as we stopped in DCH, we were greeted by Tim Crowley, who was so helpful, listened to what we were looking for and helped us narrow our search. He took us to the lot outside where they had SO MANY late model CRVs to choose from. All with low mileage at reasonable prices, all that looked brand new. My husband and I had decided we wanted black with leather interior, and OF COURSE they had several to choose from. Then, a GORGEOUS white pearl CRV-XL beckoned us from the end of the lot. Pristine condition, leather seats, fully loaded-- it felt like somehow a new car had snuck onto the used car lot. Tim took us for a test drive- this car was a 2012 but it still looked and felt (and smelt!) new. It was in impeccable condition, as were many on that lot. I tried to keep on a poker face, it didn't work-- we were sold. The end of the story is that we bought the car, but I want to mention an important part: We had our 4 month old daughter with us the entire time. Car buying can be a long experience-- lots of paper work and calling insurance, getting loans approved etc. etc. Tim was so lovely with our daughter, she was smitten with him, he was kind and fun with her and he was patient and understanding when we needed to escape for a few to feed her or change her. He made us feel right at home, and he took care of us like a friend would. It felt really good to buy a car from a man who you could FEEL was so trustworthy. He was kind, and he was knowledgable: with 19 years under his belt at that dealership, there isn't much he didn't know. It was a great experience. We got a car that was far more than we ever expected we could get, at a great price, in great condition, from a really great guy. I recommend DCH Academy Honda-- and TIM!-- to anyone looking for a car.
