Don't waste your time.

Don't waste your time. They wasted mine. What a show. Can't see the car unless you reserve the car. Made sure they knew I was paying 26k in cash. The car won't be available for 4 days. Reserve the car waiting the 4 days. Get a phone call the day before. We need to cancel your reservation after we cancelled our plans. You'll need to wait another 6 days. The car is being used but "there is no additional discount for additional mileage". No respect for your time. They act like you live across the street. Go see some people who are professional. Don't bother with these clowns.

Bought a 2023 Kona in early Jan, '25.

Bought a 2023 Kona in early Jan, '25. Very happy with it. Relatively straightforward process; reasonable price. A satisfactory buying experience. However, trying to reach their customer service is an unsatisfactory experience. Have been trying to reach the Essington Ave Phila office for days regarding car registration. No one answers the phone, and their voice mailbox is always full. A maddening experience. I do not understand how it can be so terrible. So, 5 stars for car; 0 stars for customer service. Again, terrible.

if I could give a worse rating, I honestly would.

if I could give a worse rating, I honestly would. I went to this dealership for a Toyota Venza on a July 1st Monday. They said everything will be completed by July 3rd Wednesday. I came in at appointment time 2 PM waited until 5:30 PM only for them to say the suv is still not ready and that two people were ahead of me. I was advised, I should come back the next day. I emailed Associate Lenin Fernandez emailed him and called him several times. I received the incorrect information about having a bankers check. I even had my insurance card ready. I was planning to pay cash. The process should not be this difficult. I would NOT go to this Dealership. They have terrible communication skills and zero respect for their customers.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD! By far the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my entire life and considering I worked in retail for multiple years that is saying something. I purchased a car from this location on 6/25. The car was missing its floor mats but besides that, the car was in fine shape. Given that I am from out of state they gave me a temporary license plate that expired on 8/25. On 8/10 I reached out to the person who sold me the car informing her that I did not receive my plates and she said that she needed an updated copy of my insurance cards sent over ASAP. I found this strange because when purchasing the car I gave them the insurance cards as well as the full insurance binder and the fact that it took me reaching out to them for them to then say they needed the insurance information again was very strange. On 8/24 I again contact the person who sold me the car saying that I still did not receive the license plates and she told me she had no idea when they would be coming in but they would be overnight-ed to me as soon as they arrived at the dealership. On 8/26 I called again to speak with the manager to see if they were close to arriving as the temporary tag I was given had expired on 8/25 and I was told there is nothing that they could do for me and to call back in a week if they still did not arrive. On 9/3 I spoke to a sales rep who told me that the sales manager was not available at the moment and they would have to take my information down and have him call me back which he never did. On 9/4 after awaiting a week as they told me to I called back and spoke to the sales manager Tony who told me that the plates would be arriving to at the dealership on 9/5 and that they would be arriving within the next week and stated that everything was delayed because of COVID yet I find it extremely difficult to believe that it takes 2 1/2 months to get license plates as you can schedule an appointment on your own at the DMV and get them in one day which leads me to believe that the reason they said they needed my insurance information ASAP on 8/10 was that they actually never even started the process of getting me my plates. On 9/11 I called again as it had been yet another week that passed and I had been told they would be arriving but they did not. I spoke to someone who told me there is nothing that they could do as the sales manager was the only one who would have any information on the current state of my plates and the sales manager was not in so he could not help me and told me to call back at any time after 10 am the following day. On 9/12 I called and was told that the sales manager again was unavailable and they would have to take my information down and have him call me back as soon as he was done assisting the customer he was helping. They never called me back again. On 9/14 I called again and was told that the sales manager was with a customer and I explained how they repeatedly do not call me back after they take my information and that I wanted to wait on hold until he was available. Instead of putting me on hold the sales associate said there was nothing she could do to help me, told me she would have him call me back when he was finished doing what he was doing and hung up on me. I called back again 30 minutes later and the sales associate told me that he had now left for the day and to try calling the next day. 9/15 I called today and told the sales associate who answered that I am staying on the phone until I speak to the sales manager because they do not have him call me back and I cannot afford to be driving an unregistered car with temporary tags that are 3 weeks expired and she told me she would put me on hold and transfer me to him when he was done with his customer. After waiting on hold for 25 minutes no one picked up which is why I felt it necessary to write this post as I do not want anyone else to be stuck in this position because after getting

Bait and Switch by Hertz Car Sales

Two Toyota camrys listed on Cars.com are still in the listing but when contacting the seller, both are no longer available. The alternative cars are, of course significantly more expensive. Would hate to actually meeting and talking to then. Bait and switch.

They did not tell the truth

The vehicle i purchased was posted on hertz's website. They listed the vehicle with a turbo engine and 42,000 miles. Through research i learned that the engine size list on the website did not have a turbo available from the manufacturer. i inquired further about the engine having a turbo and the salemens answer was that the turbo was for the air system not the engine. This seemed like confusing double talk but i accepted it as a typo on the website. I thought i was just dealing with an inexperienced sales rep who did'nt understand what he was selling. I decided to confirm other things about the car to make sure it was as advertized. i asked 3 times for the salesman to double check the miles on car. This was one of the main reasons i decided on this car. The salesman explained he had driven the car personnelly and confirmed the miles stated on the website were correct. When i arrived to finalze the purchase the vehicle had 54,000 miles on it. The financing was done and my current vehicle was not working. i needed a car. The sales man refused to discount the price of the car - i told the salesman to get his sales manager because i was not happy about the salesman and hertz misrepresenting the car. The sales manager appologized. Then he looked at the ground and started grinning. He took 200 dollars off the price of the car and said i was not obligated to buy it. I was stuck. i really needed a car. i and accepted it. This is an honest review of my experience with hertz in philadelphia 5/2020

Ridiculous

Found an SUV we like online, seemed like a good deal but wanted to see it first. Drove an hour to South Philly to see it. Met sales person. Told him the vehicle we were interested in, just want to see it before we buy it. Took forever printing the carfax that we didn't want. Took forever finding the keys "had to dig it out the garage, sorry we haven't cleaned it yet." Look over the car. Its dirty, has grease smeared on the side (from cargo truck, I suppose), hasn't been vacuumed in a while, writing on the windows. Still we like it and decide to buy it. Go in and then we are told that its not for sale. Someone rented it 6 days ago and they are on the way. We wasted over an hour. They really could have told us this at the beginning, besides do you expect me to believe that someone rented it almost a week ago and you expect him any minute, oh and you haven't had time to clean it yet. Something fishy going on here, stay away.

Thanks Adela

Very relaxed shopping experience. Adela assisted me when needed but was not overbearing. In and out with a car in 2 hours. xxxxxxto Tony also for working some magic with the financing. If your looking for a good car with around 30,000 miles do go, prices were about as good as your going to get.
