Second Evaluation of Kendall Toyota of Bend
During this past week I was personally contacted by Jason Wilkinson, the General Manager of Kendall in Bend. Jason arranged a personal meeting for my wife and I to discuss the concerns we addressed on this forum August 8, 2017. We had recently purchased a 2017 Tundra from Kendall in Bend. For background, please see my comments from August 8, 2017. After a meeting of over an hour, all our concerns were professionally dealt with and resolved. Jason was an excellent listener, took copious notes during our discussion and resolved several of our issues on the spot with a promise to get back to us on things that couldn't be handled at our meeting. He was courteous, caring and it's obvious to me why he is the General manager of a modern and very busy dealership. Jason's professionalism and compassion changed my mind regarding Kendall in Bend. It is obvious with a General Manager like Jason they truly care about individual customers and the quality of the service they provide. After today, I would recommend Kendall Toyota of Bend for purchase of a new or used vehicle. I know I'll be back when it's time for a new truck!

Great experience
Just purchased a new truck from Kendall Toyota. I love the fact that they let you wander the lot without bugging you but the minute you step inside, you are immediately helped! We waited for our salesman as he was helping someone else and EVERY person (including service dept employees) who walked by asked if we were being helped! We worked with two salesman and both were great! Process wasn't long and there was no waiting around waiting to sign. Would highly recommend this dealership!

Purchase of New Vehicle and Accessories
This was my second new vehicle purchased from Kendall Toyota of Bend. My latest purchase was a 2017 Toyota Tundra. During the sales process, I told the salesman I wanted the same navigation system I had in my Tacoma. He said if I wanted that system I would have to spend $10,000 more on the truck. This was totally not true! The truck I purchased came with same system as my trade in. I ordered an in bed tool box, installed from Kendall. The box would not lock and the lid came up with literally every bump in the road. Latch was totally not functional. It was obvious the service department installer had not checked the locking system on the tool box after the installation. The tool box keys were still hanging from the position placed at the factory. I also ordered a bed liner and bed mat. I was told by the salesman it would be a spray in liner which is what I wanted. When I picked the truck up, it had the Toyota screw in, plastic looking liner. It was ill fitting and cheap looking. The bed mat didn't fit properly and bunched up on all corners due to the style of Toyota bed liner. Really looked bad! Kendall Toyota said they ordered a new tool box and would install when I brought the truck in for removal if the plastic looking bedliner and installation of the spray in liner. Upon arrival this morning, I was told Kendell couldn't get the tool box in the right color and it was not on hand for installation as said it would be. I didn't receive any type of call or notification that Kendall couldn't get the new tool box. I immediately requested a refund for the box and will go elsewhere to purchase another tool box. My latest experience with Kendall Toyota of Bend has not been a good one. They also "lost " a bed installed bike rack from my trade in vehicle they agreed to detach and get back to me. In fairness, they did order me another bike attachment. My latest experience with Kendall Toyota of Bend is that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The communication between sales, service and parts is not what it should be. For my future Toyota purchases I will go to Eugene, Salem or Portland. The service department at Kendall Toyota of Bend is good enough to keep me there for routine oil changes and maintenance, etc. the service department is top notch.

Pre - Owned Vehicle Purchase
I recently purchased a Pre- owned vehicle from Kendall Toyota in Bend Oregon. I have purchased and sold many vehicles over the years and this experience was by far the best!
