Had appointment at 7:15AM! Pulled up to service door & Tara opened the door ! Tara & I reviewed what service was to be performed! Service was performed as desired & Ieft the dealership happy as ever!

Consider where you buy a car as your maintenance.

I have a maintenance plan at Joe Machens Nissan in Columbia. So I ALWAYS had any and all preventative maintenance done on my car. 2 different transmission flushes, 100,000 mile tune up, and every time I leave there I trust their 16 point inspection, tells me anything I need to do to my car, my tires, everything. The other day I had a low tire so I took my car in to Plaza Tire in Columbia. Where they took me back and proceeded to show me my tires and says " This is what happens when you don't rotate your tires for 36000 miles. I rotate my tires every oil change. Now I'm on the phone with Tare Mcdade at the Machens Nissan service dept.. She tells me that the insides of my tires wore down due to having no alignments. Once again, I take my car, 2018 Nissan Maxima to Joe Machens Nissan for all my Preventative Maintenance. When I leave every time there is an inspection list they go through. I rotate my tires every oil change there at Joe Machens Nissan. I even checked all of my records and they, every time after rotating my tires, never suggested I align them. As far,as (I'm asament they owe me reimbursement for the new set of tires). So I gat it aligned at Plaza Tire where I bought my new tires (the same day of my tire emergency that was unexpected from not having it aligned. They can't align it, say I need a factory eccentric bolt, has to be done at Machens. Is what Mike at Plaza tire told me. So now, with my new tires, I go to Machens Nissan, Columbia Mo to do an alignment. Can't do it, schedule for a later date. 'That's fine, can you check to see if you have a factory eccentric bolt in stock?' Nick, what's his name in the,service dept says no. I explain how I need to make sure I have the part I need for when I have to take off work and bring my car in I would like to know it can be done that day. He looks at me blunt and repeats himself. I explain that I'm not asking you to order it, just check and see if you have it in stock? Bluntly again, no. I left and called parts depths of Machens Nissan and he told me the part is out of stock. I go above servicedepths. Slack jaw, nick at order the part. That next Wednesday when I took off work to get my alignment at Machens Nissan I get my alignment and there and he tells me they didn't need to replace the factory eccentric bolt. Now I'm really confused, feel like I'm lied to Nick gives me the the receipt and there are extra charges from the alignment of disposal of parts. What parts did you dispose of nick??? There is ni disposal. I'm out 800 dollars in new tires, overcharged for an alignment that only needed done on one tire, that any good Ole boy shop would have done no problem for free, since I give them all of my business. Way to go Joe Machens. I don't like confrontation and don't want to be a 'Darren' ,so I never complain and I take my B S. and leave. But yeah, that's my review of Joe Machens Nissan Columbia mo excellent service on my car of which I pride and my dollars of which are few and hard earned from my honest labors. Thanks. Now, keep it, nice shoes by the way.

Eric, as I shared in our email communication, we fully stand behind our warranty for the battery you purchased. The warranty clearly states that the parts are covered, not labor. These were the terms at the the time you purchased the battery that were agreed to. We are happy to stand behind this warranty and happy to take care of it for you.

Horrible service, they have had my car for three weeks.

Horrible service, they have had my car for three weeks. I was told they had no loaner cars or rentals, I spent $1500 on a rental. Money I don't have. Finally it's fixed, $4000 later, fixed transmission. Paid for their services and still dosent run correctly. Magically they have a loaner, that smells like weed. I go to pick it up again, today it has red paint down the side of my silver door and my car is vibrating and shimmying. I am beyond livid! I spent almost two months rent for my car to sit on their lot. The more they "work" on it, the more jacked up it gets. Ironically this car is not paid off, it came from them and should not need a new transmission yet. It's only a 2017 I'm still expected to make payments on a car I can't drive. in the mean time I just want a car that will get me back and forth to work. Do Not go to them to purchase or fix a car. It will just cost you extra money! I'm a single parent that had to choose between paying rent or paying for a rental so I could get to work. Now I still don't have a working car, going on week 4 but they got paid for their "services". Thieves!!!

2 months to respond, not sure why I'm surprised. I called, emailed and went in person and could not get management to speak to me. 2017 Nissan Sentra, silver. The tag they put on my car said my car was white. Maybe they put the rebuilt transmission in a white Sentra. My name is Kristen Perkins. I'm thinking the large banner on the side of the building that says rental cars for $35 a day should come down if that's truly not possible. False advertisement. I would love to get reimbursed for all the time and money waisted. I returned my car three times after it was "fixed". The last time I went back they said my tires were bad, not transmission problem. Ironically I had no tire issues before they got ahold of my car!!! My whole car vibrated after they got ahold of it. Never an issue before. There was no accident or anything that would cause that. The transmission went out in the middle of the road and it was towed.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Machens...

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Machens Nissan! I took my wife’s Juke in for an oil change and ended up with a $4,000 bill and over two weeks waiting on parts! The most disappointing part of the whole experience is that I have asked to talk to the service manager for a week now and he is so disrespectful to his customers that he can not be bothered to return a phone call!!! Needless to say I will not be giving Nissan or any of the Machens dealerships my business in the future.

I had a 9 am appointment for an oil change. It took one hour and 40 minutes for them to do it. I had to go ask about the status after waiting 90 minutes. Forrest was very polite but it’s unacceptable to wait that long.

I have been a customer since it was Perry nissan and...

I have been a customer since it was Perry nissan and remained a customer since it’s been Joe Machens. The service Dept is expensive! Oil changes have gone up and yesterday I had recommendations totaling almost 700.00 but no deal or offer, like if I get all this done I’d get 20% off or something. Just to get my batter cable cleaned off was gong to charge me. I love my Nissan and have always had a Nissan but service needs to be more personable as far as their offers go. I do like Tara, she does seem to try to find some sort of coupon.
