I called for an oil change and was told no appt necessary

I called for an oil change and was told no appt necessary if I wanted to go through the express lane. I drove right into express lane and was greeted by a mechanic who took my info. Was told I could wait in lounge where there was coffee, drinks and snacks. I was also given an estimated wait time which turned out to be pretty accurate. My entire experience was a positive one!

I went to another dealership that only took appointments

I went to another dealership that only took appointments and refused to help me. I had a meeting in Plainfield so I stopped here and they were so welcoming. Even with a 2 hour wait, I was prepared to stick it out. They rushed to get it done even quicker and I was very pleased.

The whole visit took a very long time.

The whole visit took a very long time. We were just buying a used vehicle. York, the owner is clearly more important than the customers. York held a meeting with the finance staff, which left us sitting there for hours. No one told us we were waiting for this meeting until I asked a couple times what was taking so long. They did not take the car to be cleaned until after we signed the paperwork. As THEY were driving the car around to be detailed, it started ticking. They took a hands off approach because we signed the paperwork “as is”. They had the right to do so, but we hadn’t even driven off the lot yet, and they gave us the “it’s your problem now”. A few days after our purchase, they called to make sure that we were enjoying driving the car. We told them that there was some thing wrong and the car cannot be driven. They said the manager would call us, and the manager never called. We’re now going on a month, and we just got the car in the shop. There are many issues. The Carfax they gave us were for a very clean well cared for engine. This was clearly not the case. I feel very deceived at this point.
