Copied email sent to York Automotive: Hi Rick. I am not sure why you and others from York keep reaching out via email and text messages. I have called all numbers several times regarding my experience at York in Plainfield. I brought my truck in for a recalled tailgate latch that allows the tailgate to drop unexpectedly. My tailgate dropped late last year damaging the tailgate, however my latch was not deemed defective. I was told by a technician that several people have complained about the tailgate dropping on its own, but they do not know what caused it. I asked the service department to file a warranty claim for the tailgate and did not hear anything back other than an email stating that they did the recall check. Unfortunately due to the lack of answering phone calls as well as not following up regarding the tailgate, I will not be able to score anything near a 10 on your dealerrater survey.

Had a fantastic experience with Brian.

Had a fantastic experience with Brian. We were in a rush to get out oil changed during lunch and they got it done in no time during a big rush! We worked with Brian directly on this and couldn't be happier. We will be back!
