Incompetent Staff
Our sales person spent 2.5 hours with us and was not able to answer any of my questions knowledgeably. It took 2-3 people to tell us what the different warranties actually covered. I was shown multiple cars and none of which were the exact one I wanted to see. I was asked to fill out credit paperwork to have it all filled out when talking about a deal. I asked the salesperson multiple time if he was going to run my credit and he assured me that this was in preparation for talking about a deal because he wasn't qualified to talk numbers. My credit report was run without my authorization and before we even discussed the price of the vehicle. That was a hard inquiry on my credit. I was told by Ron Carter that I needed to call the credit bureaus and ask them to remove the inquiry. Equifax wants the dealership to send an electronic notification that they shouldn't have run my credit and Transunion wants a letter stating why my credit was run. So after spending 2.5 hours with an incompetent salesperson, I now have to sit on the phone with credit companies to ensure that my credit report isn't negatively affected by their inquiry. At the end the price wasn't what I wanted it to be and that's fine but the incompetency and negativity with which the staff treated me and my family was completely uncalled for. This is not a dealership that I would ever give my business to.

James Teng was our salesperson and was a superb professional. There was no pressure sales and he helped us through the entire process. I would highly recommend Ron Carter Hyundai and refer anyone to James.

Professional, friendly.
Anthony worked hard with my son to give us a good deal on the Hyundai Elantra we had selected. He was also very thorough when he reviewed the owner's manual with me and in showing me the features in the car. He even took time to set up my favorite radio stations and blue tooth. Everything about our experience in buying our new 2015 Santa Fe Sport at Ron Carter Hyundai was simple, relaxed and exciting due to the friendly and easy to work with sales and finance people. Great dealership
What an experience at this dealership! This is my 2nd car from Ron Carter. I had a 2013 basic Hyundai Elantra, traded it in for a 2014 fully loaded Elantra. I fell in love with the features. The leather seats, sun roof, press start, ect. My sales men James and Stephen were incredible and made me feel great about my car buying experience!!! They worked with me to get my payments to were I was comfortable with. Would recommend all family and friends.

What a surprise!
My husband and I are retirees, living on a very tight budget. When my 2000 Mazda 626 was totaled by a dump truck, I was in desperate need of another vehicle that I could afford. We wanted a little larger crossover and found one exactly like I wanted on Ron Carter's web site. I emailed James and Stephen and asked them to hold that Nissan until I could get up to Clear Lake to test drive it. And they did, telling other interested customers that it had been sold. I drove it, loved it, but then had to negotiate a price that I could afford. At my age, I have purchased several cars and never enjoyed the experience. Imagine my amazement when they actually got me the payment I requested and worked with our bank to get us a great interest rate. We had never met such friendly, truly personable and helpful salesmen. I left with my dream car at the price I wanted to pay and with a full tank of gas! We're still amazed at the service we received there. What a wonderful place in which to do business.
