Hung up on while trying to explain problem.

Hung up on while trying to explain problem. Said would call back in 5 minutes. Waited over a hour did not hear back . Was told my bait and switch complaint was not true with out even listing to the FACTS. This attempt to deal with bad customer service went from bad to worse. As a previous Gettel customer I must now focus on telling the world how Gettel treats their customers. SAD.

First visit to Gettel Genesis in Sarasota, scheduled an

First visit to Gettel Genesis in Sarasota, scheduled an oil and filter change for my G80 Sport. Service went fine, it took over an hour which seems on the long side, and I never got any updates as I waited. While there, I engaged with a salesperson, thinking of trading for a new Genesis SUV. None of the model I sought were on the lot. Salesman showed me a list of incoming vehicles. I said please print out the sticker sheets for me on two of them, just so I could review the equipment options and packages. Salesperson said sure, I said I was going to be there a while, waiting for my service work. I never saw the salesperson again. Instead, while I'm waiting for my car, a "Vehicle Exchange Manager" ambles over to me, to show me a piece of paper (with his and my salesman's cards attached) that has his "regular price", aka their AMV for the approx. $64-65K (MSRP) vehicle is now $77,409. However, he also wrote a "sale" price to me of $73K, and at the bottom is written $80,900 "out the door with tag". This math and deal didn't seem too compelling (and this super deal was only valid THAT DAY, so I said thanks, waited for my car getting serviced, and left. On the way out I looked at the AMV add-on stickers on some Hyundais and a Genesis sedan, and found the dreaded pile-on of paint protection, glass etching, wheel locks, first aid kits, etc that of course add more thousands to the total sticker. I know new vehicles are hard to come by, but this kind of behavior does not endear me to Gettel Genesis of Sarasota. Am now contacting Genesis dealers elsewhere in FL

I had purchased a large SUV from them and I was not happy with it and I met with Mark And he did everything he could to make me happy. Love the car

The dealer gave me mixed guidance.

The dealer gave me mixed guidance. The guy I made the appointment with said I needed oil change and tire rotation at 6000 and the guy that did the service said no 8000 and no tire rotation. Was not very friendly about it. In addition they were supposed to detail the car and didn’t. So bottom line I was disappointed.

They greeted us as if we were family. Mr. Rios was very familiar with what I wanted and was friendly and very helpful. We were introduced to the manager and he was also helpful. Glad we went there instead of Ft Myers dealership.
