Very Disappointing Experience I spent approximately four hours at Malouf Chevrolet negotiating a used Traverse RS. We agreed on a price of $53,000, but when I offered to pay cash, I was told the price would be $54,000. A manager, Mike, then strongly encouraged me to finance part of the purchase, assuring me that I could pay it off within 45 days without penalty or interest. We also agreed to split the 3% credit card fee. At the last minute, they changed the agreement and asked me to pay the entire 3%. Then, when I mentioned paying off the financing within 45 days, the finance manager said that the information I had been given was incorrect. After four hours of negotiations and multiple contradictory statements, we walked away. Very disappointing lack of professionalism, transparency, and consistency. I would strongly recommend that future customers get every price, fee, and financing condition in writing before doing business with this dealership.
