Divine motors has terrible customer service! I went to purchase a 2017 Ford edge Titanium EcoBoost. When I went to sign the papers they said my credit score was low because I have two credit scores, I told him there's only one credit score! They said I had credit card with high balances, I showed him my phone with the apps of the credit card showing zero balances. The owner said that was wrong, and that my bank put zeros by mistake for the balance owed. They charge $599 for document fees, the paperwork only took 30 minutes from start to finish. On the test drive the car pulled to the right, they told us that the car was not pulling that it was the road. I asked the owner if the Ford edge had a rebuilt or rebranded titles, to which he said no they did not sell or deal with ANY rebuilt or rebranded titles. All their titles were clear titles, and nothing wrong with the vehicles for which they sold. I showed the the owner his website and in the middle it stated DEVINE MOTORS dealt with rebranded and rebuilt titles, the owner then said oh that's AI That's not us. That full paragraph on their website has now been taken down. My brother-in-law drove the car to my apartment at 1:00 in the afternoon after I purchased it and it was still pulling to the right. That night I drove the vehicle and it was still pulling to the right. Called the owner and he said to bring it by in the morning and they would do a front end alignment, but he kept pushing for me to clear the finance company Westlake Financial to tell them that I liked the car and was keeping. Westlake financial did call me. I told the finance company I did not like the car it was pulling to the right but they were supposed to fix the front end in the morning. Westlake financial stated they would not approve the loan until I like the car. I went out at 6:00 in the morning to go to a meeting and the vehicle would not start. It was cranking and trying to turn over but it wouldn't start. The check engine light came on, the service engine light came on and the onboard navigational went completely white and said powering down to save energy. I called the owner and told him I would try to jump start the vehicle and if I couldn't start it I'd call him back. I tried starting the vehicle with the 1200 and cranking amp jumper and the car still would not start. I called the owner again and he was persistent that I call Westlake Financial and say I like the car and close my loan, and he was going to send a technician over to get the vehicle started but to please call the finance company and say I like the car. I never made that call! The technician showed up he tried to jump the car and it would don't start. Then the technician pulled codes from the vehicle, and as they came up he would clear the code!! After 45 minutes, the technician came to my door to say the battery was dead and he was going to buy a new battery and as he handed me the key fob. I said no and handed the key fob back, and said I don't want the vehicle I'm returning it. He said fine as he turned to walk away, I asked how do I get my down payment back to which he said go get it. The vehicle was eventually taken away on a flatbed tow truck, still unable to start. I called the owner and told him I was coming down to get my deposit back and how rude the technician had been that came out to my apartment. I drove down to get my deposit and when I got out of my car the technician asked me where's your paperwork, I said I was told all I needed was my debit card the paperwork was in the trash because I was not buying the vehicle. In the end the owner said the dome light was on and that was the problem and then another employee said that's why the check engine light was on and the service engine light to let me know the battery was low. I said no those lights are to identify a problem within the engine. The employee laughed and said no all codes mean the battery is low. I told the employee you think this is a joke.

Dealer response

Thank you for sharing the details of your experience. At Divine Motors, we aim for transparency, but it is clear that in this instance, there were several significant points of contention that we need to address directly. Vehicle Condition: Regarding the vehicle 'pulling,' we maintain that road crown can affect handling, but we did offer a front-end alignment to ensure your total satisfaction. We regret that the vehicle experienced a no-start condition the following morning. The Battery & Codes: Our technician’s assessment was that a critically low voltage in the battery can indeed trigger multiple 'ghost' codes and cause electronic modules, like the navigation system, to enter power-save mode. Clearing these codes is a standard diagnostic step once a stable power source is introduced to see which issues persist. The Website & Titles: Regarding the mention of 'rebranded titles' on our site, we use various digital tools to manage our web presence. Any conflicting information was a localized error that has since been corrected to accurately reflect our current inventory standards. Financial & Return: We respect your decision to decline the vehicle. As the loan with Westlake Financial was never finalized by your own choice, the contract was voided. We had processed the return of your down payment and consider this matter closed. We wish you the best of luck in finding a vehicle that better suits your needs.

I recently purchased a car with the help of Thomas, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we started the process, Thomas was professional, knowledgeable, and very patient with me.

I was communicating with Peter about a 2014 Mustang I was interested in buying. The first two days (consecutive) I thought I could make it down to see the car didn't work out, but we were communicating and I told him I'd try to make it the 3rd day (again consecutive) which I did only to find him not there and his coworker told me the car had been sold the day prior! I was pretty ticked haven driven 20 miles in LV traffic and told Peter so in an immediate email. He didn't even have the decency to even apologize. They'll never get any business from me for sure!!!
