Honest dealer

I have been having numerous problems with my 2014 Dodge. Gresham Dodge has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help. But unfortunately the vehicle is just a bad one. I would not hesitate to buy from this dealer again.

2014 Grand Cherokee Summit Factory issue.

I have to say Gresham Chrysler and especially Ken Knudson, Service Manager was absolutely fantastic to deal with and went out of their/his way to resolve a factory issue that I have been work unsuccessfully for 2 months with both McLaughlin Auto Mall and Chrysler Customer Service without any success. I gave up on them and called Ken who requested I bring the Jeep in for him to look at. The issue is the driver rear quarter panel and rear door were miss matched by 3/8" and both McLoughlin Auto Mall service, Tami and Chrysler Factory service tried to say there was nothing they could do and they problem was within factory specification, wouldn't affect driving, so they wouldn't cover a very bad and obvious defect. I was amazed Chrysler would make such a statement and accept such poor quality. I took my Jeep to Ken and within "1-1/2 hours" of showing up, he was able to take the Jeep to his body shop, make the repair, and I drove off with my Jeep now looking like a new vehicle should look like from the factory. I would never buy another vehicle from McLoughin Auto Mall. Their service team is awful to deal with, "never" return calls, and don't follow up as they promised to have an answer from Chrysler within 48 hrs of submitting a claim. I gave up after 2 months and Gresham resolved the issue within 1-1/2 hrs when even Chrysler said it couldn't be fixed or they wouldn't do anything. Ken avoided me having to get an attorney involved. Anyone buying a Chrysler should thoroughly look over any new potential car before buying, because Chrysler Customer service will not correct any cosmetic finish issues and will claim it doesn't affect drivability so they don't have to make a repair. They refused to even give me their acceptance standards and claim it is proprietary. ---In other words they want to be able to just tell you to go away and not stand behind their product quality. My hat goes off to Gresham Chrysler for their Customer service and ability to resolve a serious Chrysler issue when the factory won't. I will always buy and service may Chrysler Truck and autos there. Thank You Ken...!!

illegal coercion

Wouldn't offer us a competitive interest rate. So we got our own financing, then were told we could not buy the car unless we used their financing. I said "Ok, but put that in writing that we have to use your financing." They wouldn't, then admitted that they couldn't coerce us to do that and came up with a competitive rate after that.

Dealer response

Thank you for the opportunity, We appreciate and value all input as we strive to always improve processes. Please understand that we are sell and service automobiles. We do not set or approve the lending perimeters rather then are connected to several lenders. Interest rates are solely set by the banks, not Gresham Dodge. They will determine pricing on credit worthiness. It is not a policy to finance with our lenders to do business. Ultimately we apologize if it was not communicated smoothly and will take your feedback to improve our processes. Thank you for your words.

Awesome Service!

I purchased a part thinking I'd put it in. But couldn't, Ken took two minutes & put it in for me. Great Customer Service!

Gresham Dodge is my kind of place

I brought my Charger in to Gresham Dodge for service, they changed my oil and rotated my tires before I had time to read my magazine. They were fast and courteous and I was out of there in no time at all. I want to thank them for getting it done so quickly and letting me get started on my weekend. And I didn't even need an appointment. Thanks again Gresham Dodge.

They stole my down payment.

I had $5,000 down on a 16,000 car. Rather than applying my 5k to the amount of the car, they applied it to the interest I will have paid after my 72 months was up. I was under the impression that the price of my car was going to be 11k rather than the 16k. Andrew continued to imply that once I get my statement, it will show my "real amount". Of course I get my statement and it says 16k still.

Dealer response

Hi, Thanks for expressing your concerns. We welcome the opportunity to review any questions you may have on any transaction from our dealership. However, the down payment on any loan would go to reduce your principal balance of your loan. We are not the bank and do not loan money. All contracts are on a simple interest loan that charges on a per diam. Interest rate charged is based on discretion of the bank and the applicants credit worthiness. Some may have a higher cost of funds then others. However, We as the selling dealer only sell vehicles and get a check from the bank for the amount you purchased the vehicle for less any down payment received. Any interest paid is directly to the lender not Gresham Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. We understand things can be confusing and welcome you in to discuss any concerns you may have.

Another great experience

I have been buying cars from this dealership for almost 11 years. They always treat me like I am priority #1. They go out of their way to make sure I get what I need. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I hate car salespeople till now.

Let me just say I have bad anxiety over car salespeople!!! I think they are pushy, overbearing and just sleazy. That was until today. Enrique and Andrew at Gresham Dodge were amazing. They were very pleasant to work with. Enrique was never pushy lets sit and make a deal type of salesman. He was very easy going and worked to get us a great car and the price we wanted to pay. Andrew was our finance man and he was very easy going and worked hard to get us the financing that we wanted. Over all I would recommend them to everyone. My opinion of car salespeople has been changed by these two great employees.

I can't believe it was that easy and fun!

Having purchased many vehicles and some financed, I was dreading the thought of buying a new car because most dealers are waiting for the next opportunity to "take you for a ride". Not so at Gresham Dodge. I had my down payment together and all of my information for financing and sent a contact mail late one evening on a 2014 Challenger R/T. Terry Soriano called me the very next morning and we discussed my situation. I had a 1994 Corvette and some down, but was afraid that I couldn't get financed because of my credit. He told me that I would be surprised at what they were able to do at this dealership. So, we set up to meet that weekend. My wife and I arrived on Saturday afternoon and took the Challenger for a test drive. All the while, I already knew I wanted it and financing would be the issue. Sunday we returned with the trade and the first part of the cash for the down payment. The remainder of the cash would be paid within a week from a cash out of some investments I had made. Will Hatton, Ron (forgot his last name), and Andrew Suvanvej in finance were able to work nothing less than a miracle in my eyes. Not only did they do better than the 20% interest quoted by other dealers, but they got it to under 8% with my BAD credit. I'm not saying that this would be possible for everyone, but it does show that they can make what might impossible turn to reality. I will never buy a car from any other dealer, used or new. These are my go to guys from now on. If you need a car and are being given payment horror stories by other dealers, go see these guys. You'll be glad you did! I got the payment I needed and had a great time when I was there. It was fast, and more like hanging out with family and old friends than buying a car. We even spent an hour or so after everything was done to just talk, joke , and laugh together. This wasn't just about the sale and making money for these guys, it was about doing the right thing. Gresham Dodge is truly the last honest dealer in the game.

Don't go here.

Don't go here. Atrocious customer service after they get you to purchase a vehicle. I wish I had not bought my jeep from this place.
