These guys gouged me on my new truck because it was during Covid and shorted me on my trade. Even after my wife and I bought several cars from them. Service guy Matt has an attitude problem and the still haven’t fixed my vehicle. Tech left engine cover off to the side and it rode there for a month until I checked the oil. Service department forgot about me. Basil obviously doesn’t need my business. Anymore. I feel bad for my salesman.

Absolutely terrible dealership.

Absolutely terrible dealership. Treated so poorly by their car buying staff. wasted my time TWICE coming out there. I was first reached out to by THEM to buy my vehicle. Had a price discussed over the phone, they told me to come in and they would buy. Once I got there although I sent them pictures of the truck and all the information on it. They proceeded to lowball me on the truck. Whatever I took my truck and went on my way no hard feelings. Few weeks pass by and I decide to accept an offer of a negotiated price slightly above what they offer me. So I drive to the dealer along with another ride considering the dealer has already inspected my truck in person and made me a locked in offer. I get to the dealer and they proceed to cut 3,500 off the price we negotiated and agreed on because of something they failed to see. When asked why, the staff goes "I dont know man I just speak for the managers".... What kind of dealer does stuff like this thats supposed to be a professional dealer. This is also crazy considering I just bought a brand new car from that same dealership 2 years back. Waste of time and shady people working there. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Basil is a great dealer to buy and do a maintenance service. They have an amazing service with a new technology now. They send you a video of your car within the service. I recommend this dealer for buying , repair or any service

The person I initially was in contact with about a truck

The person I initially was in contact with about a truck by email just suddenly stopped responding to my emails. I was apparently turned over to someone named Mark who contacted me and was cordial at first but then became rude at times and condescending at other times as I sometimes asked repeat questions about something I had forgotten or did not know. When someone is purchasing a $40,000 truck by distance you should not be treated that way no matter how many questions you have. When I received the truck, for a 3 year old certified vehicle there seemed to be a lot of things wrong, including undercoating specks all over the running boards, a small dent in the tailgate, and a cracked grill. The tires were new but the wheels have a lot of rust for 3 years old and I feel should have been replaced . The engine was also dirty despite me specifically asking Mark to ask someone to clean it before delivering the truck. The only real helpful person was a manager named Ryan. He was very polite and respectful and tried to help. He even helped financially with paying for some of the things wrong with the truck, although not all of the items that I think should have been taken care of for the price of the truck. If you go to this dealership I would suggest you ask for him to be involved in your deal.

Great dealership

Bought a new 2023 Tacoma from Nate Banaszak (sales) very knowledgeable and Frank Palumbo (finance manager). They were both great and took time explaining everything. Would definitely go here again.

I will not take my car anywhere else for service.

I bought my used 2012 Chrysler convertible from Basil Toyota in 2013. I have never taken it anywhere else for service. I love my convertible and I love this dealership. I've had nothing but the best of service here and have no need to go anywhere else. Their service department is second to none. So kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The best!

Would Not Purchase from here again

Just purchased a Toyota Sienna. The salesperson, Josh, was not knowledgeable on vehicle. Because of this, I have a vehicle in which I cannot get into the passenger seat. The driver seat goes lower but the passenger seat does not--which he neglected to tell me when selling the power seats. I am disable and very frustrated. He also asked me to come in a day earlier for pickup to accommodate his day off. I came in at appointment time but didn't leave for 7 hours! The a/c wasn't blowing cold and I had to go to service. The paperwork wasn't correct and the salesperson had to come to my house the next day for another check! Very dissatisfied. This is second purchase from Basil Toyota which was a disaster. Mike, the owner, stepped in to fix the first sale. He did try this time as well but couldn't get me into a vehicle with power passenger seat in the time frame I needed to have my scooter lift installed. Mike is a great owner but definitely needs salespeople who know their stuff and tell the truth about the vehicles.
