My experience with this dealership was a great one. From the time I emailed them to the day the vehicle was picked up, the people were friendly and courteous. Shout out to Deya and Steve and the finance department for making this happen.

I took my TLX in because I had flashing warning lights on my dash. My car was driving perfectly fine other than that. I was informed it would cost $218 to diagnose the problem. I left my car and they told me it would be ready by 1:00. I called at 12:45 and the agent said he was busy but would call me back in 5 minutes. After 45 minutes I called and finally got him. They hadn’t found the cause of my problem but they found $5,400 worth of stuff that had nothing to do with my original problem. I went down and picked up my car and immediately took it to APEX in Lighthouse Point. They found $1,600 of work that was legitimate. They’re doing my work now. I bought my first Legend in around 1985 from that location. I may have purchased more Acura’s from that location than any individual. I’ve lost count. However, I don’t trust their service department and will NEVER buy another Acura from that dealership.

I had one of the worst car-buying experiences at this dealership. They manipulated the mileage numbers during negotiation and promised a discount that was tied to inaccurate mileage reporting (7,500 miles). They kept switching numbers around to confuse the deal. I caught the discrepancy and managed to get a fair price in the end — but that wasn’t the end of it. They also promised to refund the overpayment from my previous car’s payoff, but after the deal was done, they completely denied that promise. Now they’re refusing to take any responsibility or issue the refund. On top of all that, the customer service was disrespectful and dismissive. What started as an exciting purchase turned into frustration and disappointment. I’ve completely lost trust in this dealership — and honestly, in Acura as a brand. I do not recommend doing business here. Be very careful with what they say vs. what they actually do.

On March 14, 2025 I brought my wife’s ACURA RDX 2021 for regular oil change and tire rotation to the PHIL SMITH ACURA dealership located at 940 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL. At that time the car's front tire on the passenger side had a very small air leak, which caused a pressure drop from 33psi to 29psi and required adding air once a week in order to bring it back to 33psi. I decided not to bring this issue to the service department's attention and replace the stem valve myself first to see if it helps. After service was done, I took the car back home and in a couple of days realized that my front tire on the passenger side still had the same air leak (I had not replaced the stem valve yet). Hence, the tires were not rotated at the time of the oil change. One week later I brought my ACURA back to PHIL SMITH ACURA for – RDX seat weight sensor safety recall and asked service advisor Jon-Luc Rivero to explain why I have air leak in the same tire in the same location. No intelligible explanation was given, which brought me to an understanding that I was charged for tire rotation service, but service was not done. Now I am wondering what about oil change: was it done, or maybe not? In the conclusion - good luck with the service at PHIL SMITH ACURA, POMPANO BEACH. Alexander Kurinsky

I would highly recommend not buying a car from this dealer. They will mislead you and sell you a car w body damage and tell you it’s on you. You signed it. Keep driving.

Terrible dealer. Sold me a clean car mint condition garage kept from a little old lady. I bought the car in the rain which was my fault. It clearly had body work done on the rear quarter panel. The car fax didn’t show any accidents. When I raised the question to Jason Solomon. “You signed it!” It’s on you. I would go anywhere but where. Don’t fall for it.

Place sucks. They have much more cars to sell than people want to buy from them. Dishonest. Do not comply to FL state regulations on used cars. Stay away at any cost.
