Went in for the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser listed at $70000 with only 7800 miles, it sounded good but was presented a dirty, scratched and overall poorly... kept vehicle. Nevertheless, a quick look around the vehicle uncovered multiple red flags. Entire right side has been repaired and repainted very very poorly, we wore absolutely, definitely displeased and utterly disappointed as a few minutes earlier we sow what seem a clean carfax report, supposedly forgotten in the truck. We walked away fast and steady. That LC IS STILL there today offered "like new"..Scary.
After me and my husband being a loyal Toyota customer for over 12 years and having bought between me and him 5 cars and leased 1, totaling 6 cars... which means 2 cars per year and due to the very bad attention I received from your Sales Manager Mr. Rafael Ante from Kendall Toyotal I had to change dealership and buy a Hyunday. When the lease of my last Camry was about to expire and went as I always do to Kendall Toyota decided to change it for a Highlander , but Mr. Ante did not make the least effort to help me and when I told him that this would be the seventh car in twelve years that bought to Toyota, Mr. Ante despicable manner answered me that’s OK "TOYOTA is grateful for that”. At that moment we got up from our chairs and decided not to return to this dealer anymore. I think that if Kendall Toyota and Toyota are happy having managers like this who mistreat their customers, it is because they are definitely not interested in maintaining them. Thank you for providing a great service to my family. This is the 4th car I buy from you guys. God bless.
Frank, we are so pleased you enjoyed your visit to Kendall Toyota! We love to know that this is the 4th car you buy with us! Our priority is to serve ...you! Thank you, Kendall Toyota
Their customer service is just wow! I unfortunately couldn’t purchase the car same day but the service I received was unlike any other. I didn’t feel uncomfortable... at all, no one judged me or treated me differently. I’ve experienced horrible service in other Toyota dealers but not this one. HIGHLY recommend.
The service department is exceptional! I live in Aventura and was in the Kendall area when I encountered a problem with my A/C, and with 90-degree weather... outside, this was worst case scenario for me. I didn't have an appointment and was scared I'd wait an eternity. I was taken in almost immediately, explained the problem, and my issue was solved within two hours (that is crazy fast considering service was pretty busy AND I didn't have an appointment). Very happy with their services and prices aren't bad at all. Not sure if they'll become my go to for service considering how far they are from me, but I'm very satisfied and will recommend them to my friends and family. Give them a shot! You won't regret it.
My first time coming here. Had an excellent experience purchasing my brand new Corolla. Place looks nice and refreshed and there's a Pinecrest Bakery inside!... Service was exceptional, can't wait to try out their service department. Thanks!
I asked them how much was my car worth if I traded it in for a used car. When they gave me a low price I told them I don’t want to trade my car. The new... invoice they gave me did not take off the trade, but I only looked at the total price. After hours of waiting to finalize the sale they gave me to the accountant. The accountant asked me about my trade in. I said I am not trading my car. Then I found out after driving the car for 24 hours that they wanted over $1000.00 more. I returned the car and walked away from the deal. I went to the bank and told them to cancel the deal.
I had an appointment this morning for an oil change. After I dropped my car off, I was called and told it would take about an hour and a half and how much... it would cost me for the oil change and that someone would let me know when it was done. So three and a half hours later, I had to speak to Judy at the front desk of the service center and ask her for an update on my car. She then tells me that it was done and I should’ve received a phone call or a text and I told her that I didn’t. So after I pay for the oil change, Judy also tells me that I should express my concerns with the service staff (who were all standing close by) and I told her no I will handle this online. So here I am, finally at home leaving this review because the worst part of this whole situation and wasting my time was that absolutely NO ONE apologized to me for not getting in contact with me about my car. And for this reason, after my lease is up next year I will never buy another Toyota because they clearly do not care about their customers.
I went there because my lease was ending and they had displayed lowest lease price for 2019 Toyota RAV4. There is usually a lease end bonus for customers... ($500 at most dealerships) that Toyota gives if you take another lease from them at the end of your first lease. Most dealership also share the part of positive equity accumulated on your car in last lease. This dealership management applied that $500 to there own transaction as I saw the coupon they applied for themselves but did not include in calculation of my payment. They also did not share any positive equity. Even though they showed lowest lease price in town, I ended up paying probably highest lease price in town. My spouse wanted to leave the dealership seeing their dishonesty but I did not want to spend time shopping around. These guys had already wasted my 4 hours by that time i.e. longer than any dealership takes to finish entire process. For me my time was important more than money. I am an accounts professional and I understand finance. My spouse told them that there are two ways to earn money, either make a long time customer or earn one time money. Looks like this dealership believes in making one time money. If you are someone who value your time and want to trust your dealership, I would not recommend Kendal Toyota as they may show best deal in town but in reality you will not get it. Decision is up to readers as I share our experience here.
The Kendall Toyota service department, in my experience, lies and cheats to avoid providing warranty service. Then, if the matter is escalated, the zone... reps will not help, even when presented with proof of Kendall Toyota’s lies. So Toyota is simply full of scammers and thieves in my experience, and why I’ll never buy another one. Instead, I’m buying wonderful new cars for my family from another car company, who is growing sales by treating customers with integrity, kindness and respect. Advice on the Kendall Toyota Service Department: Don’t trust their word, don’t accept their fake wait lists, don’t do anything by phone. Get everything in writing and dated: Work orders, estimates, everything. Take names, even though no one seems to work there long. Better still: Take your vehicle to a good independent shop. Advice on the Kendall Toyota Sales Department: If you must consider a purchase or lease, don’t bite on the salesperson or managers’ first offer. Wait a day or so for a real salesperson to call you with an actual offer, which for a purchase should be closer to invoice. #KendallToyotaSleezeballs
