NEW LIFELONG CUSTOMER HERE...THANK YOU....

This dealership BENT OVER BACKWARDS to get my 19 year old daughter out of a buy here pay here night mare. Our salesman Daniel Luttrell was amazing and sat with us all day making us feel comfortable and never making us feel pressured or that we were a bother. He made us feel like family. But it didn't stop there.. the finance dept (I believe Yo helped us alot as well) worked their tales off to get her into a brand new 2017 Yaris which she loves, her beautiful spirit now has a beautiful, safe and trustworthy car to get around in! Then even further when I went to pick the car up to bring it in for trade, it was yet another nightmare.. I won't go into details but the gentleman who helped me yesterday (5/17/17), I want to say his name was Paul came out to appraise the car and wasn't happy but he ended up making it work out and took it off our hands!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING... THEY REALLY MAKE OUT THE DEFINITION OF ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS.. FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED INTO THE DOORS UNTIL WE DROVE OUT WITH THE CAR..THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS TOP NOTCH.. THIS IS ONE HAPPY LIFE LONG CUSTOMER THEY HAVE MADE HERE!!

Injury and Insult Equals Lawsuit

They performed leaf springs recall service work on my Tacoma. Afterwards my lift kit sagged in back and they refused to fix it or to return my parts. They tried to tell me that my truck had no lift kit parts, even after I gave them a copy of my original receipt. They had written notes on the service order - after I got a copy at service check-in- and claimed that I had agreed to their notes! Insult to injury: they accused me of posting a slanderous review about them online. They tried to say I wasn't really interested in reimbursement (since I had called several times before it went to Court), but that I was personally obsessed! Apparently, the terms of service for this website disallow my reporting the results of the court case. However, with the facts recorded in the public record of the case, Johnson County District Court, #15-SC0500, I am fully confident in making this negative review of this dealership. I leave the reader to look up the case for themselves should they feel inclined. Ya know, maybe just a "coincidence," but my so-called "obsession" with them was cured once I got paid. I would never deal with them ever.

Kendall Kile – He’s in a League of his Own!!

If you are in market for new/used car ask for Kendall Kile. I am a female buyer from out of state, who was searching for a specific used car. Saw one on the Olathe Toyota website. Noticed the MANY positive reviews on Kendall. Emailed dealership to check if car was available, requested for Kendall, and voiced a concern since website stated dealership experienced a recent hail storm. I received a response advising it was Kendall’s day off, but they would forward my inquiry to him. I was in no hurry, since I was calling from St. Louis, MO (3 ½ hrs away.) To my surprise, I noticed I missed a call. It was Kendall and he left a message and sent me a text introducing himself and disclosed that car was on the lot during the hail storm. He offered to go to work, even though it was his day off to check what kind of damage the car sustained, if any. I replied that he did not have to go in on his day off, since I was calling from out of town. He texted, if he did not get back w/ me that day, then it would be 1st thing in the morning. Well guess what, Kendall got back to me the same day, advising car did experienced minimal hail damage (4 dings that could only be seen if you were eye level to the car) and sent me pictures. I let my husband know and he was not interested due to hail damage. Asked Kendall what is best price on car considering hail damage to see if it would persuade my husband differently. He came back w/ price. My husband still wasn’t sold, but agreed contingent on personal walk around, getting an estimate on hail damage, possible pre-purchase inspection, and planned for our drive to dealership. Kendall then mentioned they have someone that could assess hail damage under correct lighting. I figured it wouldn’t do any harm. A couple days later, Kendall asked if I could call him. I thought oh no! He said the assessment came up w/ a few more dings that he didn’t initially see, but said dealership agreed to do paintless repair at no cost to us, if I were to agree and we did. The weekend we were due to drive in had a forecast w/ a lot of rain and flash flood warnings throughout the state of Missouri. We still decided to go and joked w/ Kendall to look for the couple arriving by boat. Upon arrival, Kendall greeted us w/ a warm welcome. He thanked us for driving in and didn’t want to waste anytime since he knew we still had a drive home ahead of us. All was good. Could not see any hail damage. Dealership not only was able to beat my credit union’s interest rate, but also at a longer term. They initially offered an extended warranty at 5yr/100k mi. but then came back and said could extend mile terms to 125k at same price, since car had less than 12k miles on it. We were in and out of there in no time. As I was leaving, Kendall knew I was nervous about driving my new car home in the rainstorm. He made the suggestion to me to avoid large puddles and for me to drive in the middle lane as opposed to right or left lanes, because there is better water drainage from the middle and will help prevent hydroplaning. LAST, but no least, he asked if I would text him to let him know that we made it back to St. Louis ok. That summed it up…Kendall is truly a straight shooter, genuinely honest young man. I didn’t think those words could be in same sentences describing a car salesman. Can’t thank him enough for making this deal seamless. I would drive the 7 hours again, roundtrip, to buy my next car from him. Thank you Kendall!!

Shopping for a new car was most unpleasant -

Stopped in to look at and possible buy a new Highlander - experience so bad that we left and went to another dealer that night - even if could make numbers work refused to buy. Newbie sales guy barely new a thing about the car - had to keep looking up details on his phone. Found a highlander we wanted, but played old school buying games - would not disclose price of new car or trade-in just wanted to focus on monthly payments. After go back and forth with both him and the GM who had a similar approach we walked. Hey Olathe Toyota, newsflash - buyers now come in doing homework and can buy anywhere in UR with a single search so stopped playing games - others have figured this out, I'd suggest you take a look at your approach as well. We bought a highlander the next day at another dealership and had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere OR go into with facts and demand they stop playing old school auto games. I don't take the time to do reviews, but our experience was that bad.

AMAZING STAFF

WE LOVE OLATHE TOYOTA, THEY HAVE AMAZING DEALS AND AN AMAZING STAFF. I especially LOVE JOJI EAPEN he is an amazing cars salesman, he gives you the best deal and the best car, he really goes in depth with the car you are looking at and treats you like family, he is an amazing person, we have bought SO MANY cars from him from the past 10 years, currently we bought our son a brand new 2017 toyota corolla and Joji sold it to us with an amazing deal. When you go to Olathe Toyota ask for JOJI!!

Bad experience, never recommend

My name is Amgad Megally , I visited you at around 1 pm today as we seriously looking for a good deal on Camry or Corolla . My family and I met a good sales person ( Cheeses or Korean) He was flexible and cooperative, I was discussing with him some good deals from other dealers. at some point, he checked with his sales manager who came to us and talked unrespectfully. He was rude. I don't think I will buy my next Toyota from this rude sales manager. He left us shortly after his un polite speech. Dear dealer representative, do you know how many other Toyota dealers around you? Do you know how do they do with their possible customers. Any way, thank you that you helped me to filter Toyota dealers, and know where to go to get my new Toyota.

Ask For Kendall Kile

If your looking for a Toyota with a great experience, I highly recommend going to Kenny Thomas Toyota in Olathe KS. When your there ask for Kendall Kile, he went way beyond what I expected a dealer to do. I had already bought a 2016 Tacoma and loved it and my wife wanted a 2017 4Runner. From the start Kendall was super nice and helpful, my wife had a very specific configuration she was looking for. Kendall was great, he found exactly what she was looking for and stayed in constant contact with us about when it would arrive at the dealership. Once there the actual negotiation was actually quite simple, I asked for a few things and they said yes, that's all there was to it. Overall I give this dealership and Kendall 5 stars!
