I walked into the dealership knowing I wanted a Escape XLT and had picked every feature that I wanted. I had already sent a request to the dealer from the FordVehicles website. I was driving a 2002 Escape xls that I bought new, and the dealer gave me a fair trade in value. When I handed the new Escape spec to Joe, He came back quickly with a copy of the window sticker of the exact truck I wanted. The truck was at another dealer location, but the team assured me that I would have the truck the very next day, and I did. Miguel was great at explaining the entire financing paperwork and made it an enjoyable experience. I had dreaded going to the dealer to buy a new escape, but now I wish I had done it sooner, because I am so excited at how seamless it was and I love my new Escape. I look forward to working with this dealership for all my service needs, and am glad they are there to support me with any needs I have with my new truck. They exceeded my expectations and am confident of their future support. Robin Harkin

I had spent months searching for car, and every where I looked seemed to be a dead end. The pricing was to high, or the car wasn't in a preferred color. The sales person that I dealt with, Ron Novin, was respectful, approachable, friendly, and patient. I received more help at Herb Chambers Ford, and was met with a more thorough understanding on the car than I had else where. They did everything in a timely manner, and made things as comfortable as possible. When it came down to financing services, Miguel was friendly, and clear on anything that needed clarifying. Both of them made my experience, and my family's experience at Herb Chambers very pleasant. And I would recomment them to anyone looking to buy a new, or newer car.

My ten year old Explorer had many miles on it and I thought it time to get a new one. I checked out a few other dealerships but they did't have a 2010 Explorer with the requirements I was looking for. Then on a whim I went down to Herb Chambers Ford after lunch one day.I was greeted warmly by salesman Ron Novin. He showed me a few on the lot and then brought me inside and asked me about what I was specifically looking for. He checked some sites on his computer and came up with just what I required.Mr. Novin was a pleasure to do business with. He knows his stuff. I had a pleasant experience and will do business there again.

Scot Cox was the salesman I dealt with and he was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He answered all my questions and in subsequent dealings with him on the phone he always called me back within a couple of hours with the information I was looking for. He was very patient with concerns I had and really made the car buying experience a pleasure.

I woul first like to say that "This has been the best experience I have ever had in buying a new car"! I worked with Ron Novin, Mohammad Metwally and Neil Finch recently when I purchased my 2010 Ford Escape. All three gentlemen were professional, knowledgeable and friendly in all their dealings with me. They got back to me when they said they would, answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable without any "salesman pressure" at all. The dealership should consider themselves lucky to have men of such great caliper as these men were. I look forward to recommending Herb Chambers to anyone that is looking to purchase a care and working with the service department when the need arises. If the service department is like the rest of the group that I have met so far then I know it will be a pleasureable experience.

I saw a really great value on their website in a certified used vehicle. I emailed an inquiry and had an appointment set up for the next day. I was hoping to get a better price than what was listed, essentially for financial reasons, not value. The Herb Chambers price was lower than the edmunds and bluebook values of the car. After some haggling they saved me a headache by accepting my old vehicle as a trade in and, in turn, taking a little bit off the sticker price. Their finance service was great, they found me a really good loan rate. I may have spent a little more than I wanted to, but I can confidently say I got a great deal.

We went into Herb Chambers to look at a used Ford Focus wagon. We worked with Walter who was very nice. When we went to test drive the car we noticed that the driver side door rattled when you shut it, the transimission took a few seconds to kick in when you gased it and there was what looked to be a hanger holding up the tailpipe. We said no thanks and were about to leave when Walter asked us to wait while he checked to see if they had any other late model, low mileage wagons for sale. They told us that had a Saab wagon and when we told them our price range they said they would make it work. We test drove the car and loved it. At this point we began dealing with a sales mgr., Muhammad who negotiated with us for a fair price and we put a deposit down on the car. Since we were sort of blindsided by this Saab, we told them we needed a day or two to do some research on the car before we signed any paperwork. Our main sticking point with this car was the high cost of repairs. A few days later we took the car to a local Saab dealership to have their mechanic take a look at it. They said the car was more or less sound but had a few problems and gave us a list of 8 or 9 things that we should have Ford fix before we bought the car with 5 of them highlighted as VERY important things to have addressed because they could cause bigger problems down the road. When we brought the list to Ford we began to haggle over which repairs they would do. We weren't looking for them to do everything just the items Saab said were most critical. We were told on 3 occasions (with a handshake) they would do all the repairs for the already agreed upon price only to have someone come over and tell us they wouldn't do this or that item. Finally the general manager Scott Lewis came over and told us that he thought the car needed more work than they were able to do and that there was a chance they weren't going to sell it but that he would get back to us in the a.m. This guy is a real beauty. We never got a call back from him so we called later on the next day. He didn't even remember us from the day before. He told us that they would sell us the car for the agreed upon price and do an allignment and oil change and that was it (??????!!!!!). Scott's response to my husband's shock was to yell at him and tell him that their service department looked at the car and didn't find anything wrong with it. So I guess the Saab mechanics whose job it is to work on these quirky cars were just lying. They had no reason to lie to us. Saab told us to have Ford do the repairs so they weren't looking for the service sales from us. Ford just didn't want to put the money into fixing up a car to a standard level before selling it to a customer. I shudder to think what repair nightmare we would have been in had we not gotten someone to look at the car before we bought it and feel sorry for the poor soul they end up selling the car to who will be met with a $1,000+ repair bill in their first year of ownership. Not to mention the fact they were trying to sell the Focus in the condition it was in. But, what we are most saddened by is the way we were treated overall. We weren't looking to buy a Saab in the first place. They were the ones that agressivly sold us on it. We spent days of driving down there, sitting in traffic, researching the car, etc. We had a salesman shake our hand on three occasions, say they would do all of the repairs on the car for us and go get the paperwork. All of this before reneging on the whole deal and tryig to sell us a car that is going to need a lot of costly work done on it while yelling at us and telling us that we're missing out on a good deal. To be fair I should mention that Herb Chambers did reimburse us for the cost of the Saab evaluation and mileage going down there. However, this doesn't make up for the colossal waste of our time and the level of dishonesty we were met with along the way. We were on the fence about this car to begin with because of Saab's reliability ratings and their high cost of repairs. The fact that Ford wanted us to buy this venhicle after being advised BY Saab to get xyz fixed first is shameful. At least for used cars, I wouldn't recommend this Herb Chambers and wouldn't recommend their service department at all with the condition they are turning used cars out for resale.

went to hc ford for a new fusion. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Went to 2 other dealers first and hc ford is the only place that I felt like they cared about me, not the sale. They truly did help me buy a car, not just sell me one. Will refer all friends and family to hc ford and wayne!
