I would highly recommend Hagerstown Ford Service. They have always worked in a timely manner and they don’t give you the run around. The people are friendly and and treat you with respect.

Where do I even begin... I walked into Hagerstown Ford with the intention of trading my 2023 Ram 2500 for a 2024 F350. After about an hour of negotiating with the sales team, we realized that the deal wasn’t going to benefit either of us, so we shook hands and left amicably. Just as I was leaving, the sales team came rushing out, calling my name and urging me to come back to see what they could do to make the deal work. I decided to give them another shot and returned to the dealership. We reached a new agreement, shook hands, and were met with congratulations from the team, so we proceeded to finalize the paperwork. However, instead of being taken to a proper desk for closing, we were seated in a vacant corner of the showroom and left waiting for two hours. Eventually, the salesman returned, congratulated us again, and handed us a temporary tag. When I expressed my confusion over why we couldn’t just transfer my old tags as is customary, he told me to take the truck home for the weekend without finalizing the deal. My wife and I were uncomfortable with this arrangement, as we didn’t want to leave with a vehicle that wasn’t officially ours, fearing that the deal might fall through. We made our concerns clear multiple times. Next, I was sent to meet with Michael Branson, a finance manager. During our discussion, he mentioned that he needed to determine whether I was a “stand-up guy” in order to ask the bank for an “exception” because of the deal’s “complexity.” I was baffled by this since I had already received numerous congratulations prior to this meeting. Branson promised to call me on Monday between 2-3 PM to update me on the deal. However, when Monday came, I waited and called multiple times, but no one answered or returned my calls. I decided to drive to the dealership to get an update, but Branson refused to meet with me in person and sent a junior salesman to tell me to go home and wait for his call the following day (Tuesday). At 4 PM on Tuesday, I finally received a call from Branson, who informed me that I needed to put $15,000 down. I was eager to proceed and willing to make that down payment, but when I asked Branson for more details about the deal, he huffed and said he needed to check with the lender and would call me back the next day (Wednesday). On Wednesday morning, I received a text urging me to call Mr. Branson regarding my deal and loan details. I called just 15 minutes later, but he answered, laughed, and told me he would call me back because he had a 9:30 AM appointment. Later that day, around 5 PM, the salesman texted me again, asking me to call Branson, who claimed he had been unable to reach me. I called Branson, but, unsurprisingly, he didn’t answer. I reached out to the salesman once more, and he assured me that Branson would call me back shortly. Yet again, I found myself waiting for the fourth day in a row for a callback. I have purchased many things throughout my life and dealt with numerous dealerships, but I have never felt so belittled or disrespected by any business as I have by Hagerstown Ford. If you have friends or family considering shopping here, I highly recommend finding a more honest and reliable dealership. To add insult to injury, Hagerstown Ford called me today to “congratulate” me on my purchase and inquire about how my new truck is performing. I dropped off my vehicle at Hagerstown the evening of July 2nd after coordinating with Kyle, expecting it to be looked at first thing the next morning. I provided multiple warranty issues and DTC codes already pulled. Despite that, they did absolutely nothing. When I followed up, they said they couldn’t diagnose anything because there was no check engine light — ignoring obvious issues like the exhaust rattle, malfunctioning windows, mirror LED, and backup camera. When I asked why they didn’t use the codes I gave them, they said, “Oh, we didn’t drive it.” They also promised to drop the vehicle off — never happened. I ended up driving there myself, and only then did they finally replace a coil to fix the misfire. But after driving back to Frederick, the car was limping, wouldn’t go past 45 mph — clearly still not fixed. I received a call from manager Anthony Keilholtz, who was rude, unprofessional, and even cursed during the call. He blamed me for not giving them more time and sarcastically asked why I didn’t fix it myself since I "know how to repair cars" — my answer: because it’s under warranty. I asked for a loaner vehicle — he refused, saying, “I’m not giving you a loaner.” To make matters worse, the car was returned filthy, with grease all over the seats and interior from the technician. They eventually said they'd pick up the car on Saturday. The level of incompetence, lack of professionalism, and disrespect from this dealership is inexcusable. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB. If you value your time, money, and basic decency — stay far away from Hagerstown.

Total crap body shop. Our car was crashed into, and the repair quality was crap!!! Had to take it back to get things fixed, and today, when I tried to get an oil change, it took the mechanics 3 hours to fix the hood latch to open, charging me $360!!! Because of this crap dealership, my oil change cost $420 bucks!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THEM.

Avoid this dumpster fire of a dealership. Ford should be ashamed to let this place use their name. As a lifetime Ford owner who has owned 9 Fords, I scheduled an appointment for a recall a week in advance as I live 40min away for 9am on my day off to ensure we would have 2 vehicles and not have to wait around for the ~2hr it should take max to perform this recall. Being early was to ensure I would be back in time to get my daughter off the bus. No call for over 3hrs of blundering around hagerstown, so I stop back in at 1215 to get an update. I was informed they had not started it and would get it done by the end of the day (5pm). The rude employee stated the appointment is just a drop off time but they'll get to it when they get to it. This is the opposite of what I was told when I scheduled the appointment and is completely unacceptable. I had to run home to get my kid off the bus and make another trip to hagerstown wasting gas.

Horrible customer service, I wanted to get an oil change and a recall notice taken care of. I’ve called them 4 times no one answered the phone in service, then when they finally answer and I told them I want my car picked up to be serviced,I was switched to another person which also didn’t answer the phone , I got the voicemail. With customer service like this it will be the last Ford that I buy!!
