Neal and his staff were all great. The car was ready when I got there, quick test drive, sign some papers and out the door in under an hour. Price was... really good too. Super clear on what I was paying and made good on everything he said. Seriously, this was the easiest car buying experience of my life.
Anne was our internet specialist who followed up with us to set up a test drive. Gene helped us when we got there. Everything was great. The car was... exactly what we wanted. They worked with us incredibly.
I have been corresponding with the sales manager at Gloucester Toyota in the search for a reliable used vehicle¿ and they have been very accommodating... in providing any information that I have requested thus far. The prices and inventory are very fair, the vehicles are very clean, and have been looked over thoroughly to ensure that there are no mechanical issues. This is a very professional dealership to work with, and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in the market for a new or used vehicle.
My last car loan was in 2004 and I wasn't looking forward to the typical dealership experience. I had heard of good experiences at Gloucester Toyota and... about the people there. Search after search I kept on coming back to a Camry at Gloucester Toyota. I called and met with Tommy. Great guy!!! He thoroughly went over all the options and proceeded, after I said "I'll take it", to enter my home in the navigation system, connect and sync my phone, and answer all questions I had...even the few times I realized he had already given me that answer but Tommy always answered as though it was the first time he gave that answer. Tommy throughout the entire experience was more like a friend helping you than a salesman. This was Saturday and he texted me so I would have his cell number...just in case... Well, just in case came on Monday when I left work to go pay... I didn't see a piece of aluminum and my 2 day old car had received a flat tire...yea me... I was 5 min. from the house, so I texted Tommy letting him know I would be late as I needed to change the tire and he immediately responded telling me as soon as I would arrive he would get the tire in the shop and have the car detailed while I waited. Again, more like a friend than a salesman, he walked me through the entire process after meeting me in the parking lot when I arrived. Literally, when I turned around after getting out of the car, Tommy was 20 ft away getting things started. Here's the BIGGEST BONUS...since I got there late, by the time the car was done being detailed, the shop guys had gone home. Any other dealership, I would have had to go home and change the tire myself. NOT while Tommy was there, he drove my car into the shop and changed the tire for me. WOW!!! I was hoping to find a dealership that I and my family could continue with and I did. After Tommy was done, he came and took me out to a nicely detailed vehicle. He opened the trunk, doors, and hood. He asked if everything was okay and apologized it took some time. To explain, I took the vehicle home on Saturday not too long after the vehicle landed on the lot so they had not had time to do a thorough detailing job so Tommy promised when we next saw each other he'd make sure it would happen. Again, any other dealership, that's what they would say and then it's, "we never said that"... You know those Toyota commercials where people were jumping beside their vehicles, in my picture, I had just landed... :) I know this is getting long but I also wanted to give a big kudos to their service guys. That tire incident wasn't a simple round puncture...one that may have necessitated a new tire...ugh... Broken record but any other dealership, "hey, sorry, couldn't fix it so we need to put on a new tire"...not here, they gave it an honest attempt and it was fixed with a simple patch...phew... I wish I could remember the name of the guy in service but they were respectful, polite, and appeared genuinely happy. Every person in the waiting room was treated like Gold. Let me not forget the lady you paid, so nice and had a great personality. From the test drive to the end of this experience Gloucester Toyota's people have made me a walking billboard. You know how dealerships always put their stickers on the trunk? It's something I don't like...well, this time it's different, I'm proud to let everyone know where my Toyota came from. Tommy, if you read this to the end, thanks again!!!
My boyfriend and I purchased a car yesterday with the help of James "JJ" Johnson! He was a great deal of help, very honest, and overall a pleasure to do... business with! He took his time over the two day experience and put us first. Along with JJ, the rest of the staff was friendly and made you feel right at home. I would most definitely recommend buying a car at this location, ask for JJ and he will take care of you!
We found the pre-owned Toyota Venza that we had been looking for online at Gloucester Toyota. They have a special Internet price, a really great deal,... so we sent them a message to say we were coming. Anne responded promptly. J.J. Johnson met us at the door when we arrived, let us test drive the vehicle and walked us through every phase of the purchase. There was absolutely no pressure or hard sell of any add-ons at any stage of the purchase. We were very impressed with J.J.'s patience, professionalism, and most of all, his integrity. Thanks, J.J.! The 2013 vehicle with under 40K miles is like new - it was a perfect fit for us. We have enjoyed driving our "new" vehicle for over a month now and have been pleased with a couple follow-up visits as well. We are always treated fairly and with respect and courtesy.
My wife and I had researched a new Avalon for a few months now and even though all dealerships have basically the same products the difference is in the... employees. I have purchased many vehicles at Gloucester Toyota and have always been pleased with the service and price. This time we were helped by Mr. James "JJ" Johnson and he was wonderful. From the time we walked in until we drove off with a new vehicle he did everything possible to meet our needs. He was very helpful in explaining the features of the vehicle and helping us understand the rebates. I would recommend Gloucester Toyota to anyone considering buying a Toyota product and it is people such as JJ that give them an excellent name

This was my first time buying a practically brand new vehicle off a legitimate car dealership lot. Blake Jones was my car dealer and he gets 10 gold stars... if I had things my way. He was never pushy, explained everything he could from beginning to end and even made my daughter feel like she was part of the whole experience. My parents were so impressed with the deal I got and the best non pushy customer service I received they are both already talking about making the trip to Gloucester (we all live in Hampton, va) the next time they buy a vehicle. Even down to the finance man Jack. Considering the fact that I was there well past closing no one made us feel rushed or put off the vibe of being annoyed with the fact that we were there past 8pm. Again Gloucester toyota and Scion gets a perfect 10 in my book especially Blake Jones and Jack the funny finance man!

Purchased a used Toyota Camry recently that needed an Inspection Sticker. I took it to the Gloucester Toyota Service Department without an appointment.... They were very accommodating, took the car in right away, got my car inspected in a reasonable amount of time, and left me feeling glad I took my 'new' car to their service department.!! I will not hesitate to use their service department in the future when my Toyota needs to be serviced.
