Dismissive, contradictory, etc--Never again!

~2:30 pm ask service advisor (male) for prepaid oil change & "check brakes" act funny, needed 4WD x2, brake pads had lifetime replacement. "not today", earliest 2 days.Told no such Ford bp repl, then "only at that repair shop ",then "get document ".No ? to determine safe to drive away. verified accepting Ford prepaid oil change, filter, & tire rotation coupon.Returned & vehicle checked but couldn't do until after weekend, and to "not drive very far or fast". Mechanic went through the findings but held tight to the printed estimate, (double what I would have paid, it now appears ) only writing the total on a sticky note for me. He did verify that Ford does have the bp replacement benefit but that it wouldn't be covered for the cause of this issue. "Fine print !" if could just leave it & get ride. Did.When called that vehicle was ready, asked if noticed wipers issue "you didn't tell me about ",; told if I left it another day they could fix it --likely under warranty. I declined. the oil was changed but did not do the tire rotation, other male he said "you didn't say you wanted it...it wasn't submitted [so] wasn't paid [to us]. Incorrect, told other guy. Apparently not noted. Frankly I was still in shock from the danger, the issue, the overly high price to repair, and the "first" guy's attitude.. ladies at desks helpful, pleasant and inquisitive/informative. Asked if the tire pressure had been changed when checked, told "we follow the door sticker unless you tell us different". Mechanic sitting there shook his head "no". Have NEVER been to a Ford that was like this. Even the incompetent mechanics at the Davenport FL Ford they people were polite and asked questions & verified.Would never return. , ~ $200 for an estimate, if it wasn't covered by warranty. buddy... you had no interest in fulfilling the services by getting the "whole" coupon "paid to you " --or did you take the payment and skip the work? My receipt doesn't itemize the payment you received from the prepaid authorization so we'll never know! Your colleague was more interested in contradicting me than doing a little bit of research with either your mechanic or even on your website where it shows the "bp lifetime replacement " benefit. And your shop is "employee owned"?!!!! was treated like the proverbial " 'girl' going to 'dicey mechanic'. did what I was told was required for safely. Ford <100 mi away that will get business. When I entered the vehicle in the parking lot, the drivers inside door handle had been broken, with a metal piece sitting in the door armrest cubby. So disgusted... just drove off. And fearful that the service repair may be substandard here, too.

Happy Shopping

Stu was so easy to work with! He knew what he was doing, was patient with me, and explained the process every step of the way. I recommend anyone looking for a new car to work with Stu at Williamsburg Ford! It is like shopping with a friend. Thanks again!

Excellent customer service

I recently received some of the best service I've had in 30 years from a dealership. David and his team from Williamsburg Ford was top notch from start to finish. Handling set some issues with my Ford edge, managing the fleet company while ensuring great communication with me while on vacation but respecting my time off. He handled things without bugging me. . I highly recommend Williamsburg Ford and will be returning there for service for my car

Our experience

Have to say, we visited 4 other Ford dealerships in the Richmond area before going to Wiliamsburg Ford, which happens to be about 1 1/2 hours from our home in Prince George. Our salesman, Mr. Alderman was right on point! He made our visit very personal, explaining everything about the truck we bought. Answered our questions and made this transaction the best ever! Will definately go back for future purchases.

Offer of free services, merely just a sales pitch

Offers “lifetime” oil changes (2 per year) as well as state inspections. Until it’s time to get one, then you have to pay for them. Last time I’ll step foot on this lot

Rude Customer Service - Need to learn manners

Very Rude Customer service. Never dealt with such arrogant sales person. Called to inquire about a vehicle and sounded like the sales person could not be bothered to talk! I wonder about the management of the place whether they need to consider who picks up the phone in that dealership if they want to win business. Total waste of time!

Great Experience

My husband and I were looking for a used Ford F-350 and the dealership had one. The internet salesperson, Stu , was very responsive in answering our questions and assisting us. When we arrived to see the truck, it was ready for us to take on a test drive. All of the personnel we met were helpful and courteous. We ended up purchasing from Williamsburg Ford because they gave us a great deal. We highly recommend this dealership!
