Sorry to say that I have had the most uncomfortable

Sorry to say that I have had the most uncomfortable experience with Hyundai of Paramus in Paramus New Jersey. They have taken advantage of an old man like me and tricked me into buying a car $12,000.00 over sticker price. I was lulled into NOT reading the contract. The finance manager who left me alone in his office, took the contract with him. After quite a while, the finance manager came back into the office, put the papers in front of me, pointed where to sign, and like a dope I signed. Thinking back, don't you think a reputable manager would have said, "Here is the contract, read it?" But ok, that was my stupidity. I have never bought a car or anything quite expensive in my long life and was naïve and excited, and the finance manager smelled it. Once I started complaining that I felt rushed with confusion, the General Manager came in the office and called me "I little xxxx. All in plain ear shot and sight of other customers and employees. I did not deserve to be publicly humiliated by this dealership. After all, I was spending thousands of dollars and charged $12,000.00 over the list price. Also, it turns out, the name of the finance manager I was told was not really his name. Why would he do this? Once I refused to leave without knowing what charges from the contract added up to 12,000.00 over list, I was offered $4000.00 to "Make this go away," as the finance manager put it. I was to sign a statement that I would not complain to the Better Business Burau of Hyundai cooperate. I was willing to sign if I got the payment, but was told it would take six weeks. At this point I had no trust for this dealership. Public humiliation, being cursed at, tricked, lied to, fake names, and beaten, is my new car experience. Hyundai of Paramus has taken the joy out of my new car. Every time I look at it, I get knots in my belly.

On August 31, 2023, I bought a car from Hyundai in

On August 31, 2023, I bought a car from Hyundai in Paramus NJ. This dealership not only took advantage of me and my old age, but the General Manager called me a "little s8it" when I questioned him as to why my car was $12,000.00 over list price. Also, the finance manager used a different name during our deal, then his name actually was. Why? Although I accepted being tricked into signing an overpriced vehicle, that was my mistake, however all I wanted to know, what on the contract added up to such an overcharge. Dealer fees, taxes, interest, and other miscellaneous charges added up to only $3000.00. Still, where did the rest of the $9,000.00 over list price come from? After persisting on knowing how the price I paid for the car was so far over the list price, the finance manager then offered me $4000.00 to, as he said, "make this go away," however I would have to sign a waver saying I would not complain to the Better Business' Bureau or to Hyundai. However, after signing, I would have to wait six weeks to get the money. At this point, I had no trust in the dealership or anyone one working there. Again, I need to use other peoples computers to write this review because the Hyundai has blocked me from there website. DO NOT USE Hyundai of Paramus. They are evil xxxxx that call customers names and publicly embarrass coustmoors.

Cursed and publicly humiliated by the General Manager in font of other customers and employees. Lied to about the finance managers name. Was offered $4000.00 if I would consider NOT filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau when complaining that I had been extorted and fooled and tricked into paying $12,000.00 over sticker price with the finance manager saying please except the $4000.00 to "make this go away." The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. Still, weeks after this sale, getting my plates, information on how to use some of the car technology, and questions about service, are problematic. I have also been asked to leave this dealership by police. Bad, bad, experience. I had to use someone eases computer to write this review because the powers that be blocked my email address. Cowards.

Can not get better than Brandon

I just want to let everyone know that Brandon my salesman was absolutely phenomenal. Very quick, efficient,and friendly. Goes above and beyond to get you the best deal possible. Can call him anytime and he helps you. My experience was exceptional. I would recommend to everyone.

Never heard of having to pay $410 just to look at a car

Never heard of having to pay $410 just to look at a car that is under warranty? Are you kidding me? Was told by the Service Manager that they want money up front? I bought this car because of the warranty? He said that , how do we know it’s a warranty issue unless we look at it ? Really? Will never go back there. Use Hyundai of Denville. They stand behind their cars and have never had a problem. Will be sending a complaint to BBB. Also will contact Hyundai Corporate. I have bought over 15 Hyundai cars myself and brought in over 25 other car sales for Hyundai. Will never go anywhere else but Denville.

The best car dealership/customer service I've ever worked

The best car dealership/customer service I've ever worked with. I appreciate the authentic, friendly and professional relationship I have with my #1 Sales Rep. Iggy Barreto, three years strong. Told me car needed 4 pistons/car had only 24000 miles at a cost of 1800 hundred $ once I forced them to honor the extended warranty car only needed 1 piston worst service department I ever dealt with and is a high bar to jump over go anywhere else

For some reason buying a car has always been a miserable

For some reason buying a car has always been a miserable experience for me. But not at Paramus Hyundai! Iggi is the best salesman I have ever encountered for new cars. Looks like I’ll be buying Hyundais from now on! I have already made two purchases there in the last two years.

My car was dropped off to Paramus dealership after it

My car was dropped off to Paramus dealership after it broke down, the dash board was flashing all different codes,I contacted the service center and ask them to do a diagnostic, they said it cost was $400. They contacted me and said that I need a started.I ask about the codes, they keep telling me I needed a starter and wiring, after that I ask to speak to a supervisor, they left me on hold for about one hour.what did they do with my $400. I still want a diagnostic test done. The last electrical was replacing a windshield and to calibrate the box on the windshield which is electrical. My car 2015 hyundai Genesis.
