    purchased my Malibu I've had issues where the gas pedal is completely unresponsive despite it being full depressed. This normally happens when I take off... from rest at a light. I can have the pedal fully to the floor of the car and the car will refuse to accelerate at all. It takes around 5 seconds until the car actually registers I'm trying to give it gas. I'm not a car guy whatsoever and know nothing about the inner workings of what makes a car move but 2 weeks ago I received a recall notice from Chevy stating that my current Malibu model was found to have issues with its accelerator. Obviously my initial reaction was "I knew it!". This was more than my car just not having a strong engine. I took it first chance I got to the service center at Lone Star hoping to get the issue fixed. Unfortunately that was the complete opposite of what happened. I was not only told that my car was not affected by the issue but that also Lone Star has no way of verifying if the electrical issue was even an issue at all for me. I urged them to test drive it but of course (through bad luck or laziness) they said they didn't experience the issue. Ultimately I had to walk out of there with my tail between my legs and feeling stupid because I had the nerve to think that a symptom that I was experiencing in my car was the same that was described in the recall letter I received (which it was. I'm not 5 years old.) I just don't understand how I can get a letter for my car saying something was wrong with it and just be outright refused service or help for it. This will be the last car I purchase from Lone Star which is unfortunate because their sales team has always been very helpful. - Sy

    Had a locking lug nut come off after a first servicing of my new truck. Took it back to the service bay where they immediately replaced it and checked... all my other lug nuts on the spot. Excellent response to what I had steeled myself to fight for. Great integrity demonstrated by what I experienced. Unfortunate to have a potential miss, but great to see such a response.

    We expressed what we were looking for and they very quickly brought a car that met our needs at what was a good price and made a very good offer on our... used car. We feel good about it except for the actual closing to many people and way too much paper work

    Do not go to Lone Star service department! Took my ‘15 Silverado in for a noise in the front end. I was told they knew exactly want it was (shaft just... needed to be greased...140.00). Then I get a call saying it too late for the shaft the whole gearbox needs to be replaced (2400.00). Thinking that was the problem I tell them to go ahead. I pick the truck up and it’s still making the same noise. So looks like I was shafted out of 2400.00. I take it back and the they say they fixed it by tightening a bolt.?. I pick it up and It’s still making the noise so I take it back again. I have been there 5! times and it’s still making the same noise. The last time they said both front struts were loose and that was the problem. It’s still making the noise so were they really loose??? Or did they just tell me that. I will say they are saying they will fix it at no charge because I’ve already paid 2400.00 for NO REASON but it’s still very aggravating. I would like to take it to a different dealer but then I will have to pay all over again. I would be willing to just call it a loss if they would reimburse me SOMETHING.

    HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING WHEEL. COMPARED TO OTHER DEALERSHIPS IN THE HOUSTON SUBURBS...THIS IS A GOOD ONE. HONEST, CLEAN AND WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE... UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES. CAN NOT SAY THE SAME FOR GMC MANUFACTURING. MY PROBLEM WAS NOT WARE AND TEAR...IT WAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE PAID A RED CENT FOR THE WORK! GMC MUST BE WAITING FOR A FATALITY TO HAPPEN BEFORE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP!

    I purchased a used 2019 Silverado that had 2700 miles on it. I specifically asked the sales people what the towing capacity was for this vehicle because... I need a tow vehicle. I was told that it has the factory towing capacity. I came from over 300 miles away to get this truck. I was told it was traded back in for a different model and this was basically a new truck with the remaining factory warranty. On the drive back I could tell that something was not right with the suspension. After inspection on a lift I found out that the suspension had been lowered. I contacted the dealer and asked if they would provide the parts to return the suspension to the factory original state. They refused, and said that I bought this "AS IS". With the truck in this condition any suspension failures would not be covered under warranty because it has been altered. Not to mention it cannot tow a trailer at the rated capacity. It is hard for me to believe that they did not know the suspension was altered. And I think it was wrong for them not to disclose that up front. And then refuse to do anything to help correct the issue.

    Horrible service and management. I bought an Equinox January 2018. The car was at the BMW dealership down the street from Lonestar. Car was advertised... as Certified Vehicle. When signing the paper work in their finance dept I asked if the car was certified. The sales guy says no because the car was 5 yrs old and didn't qualify for the certification. So I buy the extended warranty, however I was not “buyer beware” and didn’t ask if the sale price was with the certification as listed. A month goes by and I take it in for bad rotors. I talk to Mgr Johnnie Smith and explain to him the situation. He tells me it doesn’t matter because the extended warranty is the same as a cerified car. He was missing my point. My point was that the price should have been dropped since the car was not certified. Assuming the sale price included the certification. He tells me they shouldn’t have sold me a car with bad brakes/rotors. I take the car in a week later to get the rotors repaired. The car sits at dealer for 4 days, I call to check status and they didn’t know where my car was. Finally I get a call back 3 hours later saying my car is ready. The car is still not braking well. Had to replace the CV Axles already and now there’s a noise coming from front end when braking at low speeds. Not happy with the purchase and will not go back there again and will not recommend this dealer. My family has bought cars here in the past. But no more. “BUYER BEWARE”

    Came in for a 10:40 am appointment and it took them over an hr just to put my vehicle in for the oil change. Waiting for just a quick oil change and with... an appointment is just ridiculous. What's the point of appointments. I should of just gone to quick lube and been in and out in 30 mins. Very very upset
