2023 Audi Q5

An issue involving loose cylinder-head screws has prompted a recall of more than 89,400 Audi Q5 SUVs.

IIHS announced that three model-year 2023 and 2024 mid-size luxury SUVs offer good crash protection for front and backseat occupants in the agency’s updated moderate overlap front crash test, but several others scored acceptable, marginal and poor.

The 2023 Audi Q4 e-Tron and e-Tron Sportback, the gas-powered 2023 Q8 and the 2024 Q8 e-Tron and e-Tron Sportback (plus their respective 2023 equivalents) have earned the IIHS’ Top Safety Pick+ accolade.

Adaptive cruise control is now standard on all 2023 Q5s and SQ5s, and the Premium Plus trim gets access to a Bang & Olufsen audio system with 3D sound technology.
