Land Rover is recalling more than 250,800 Defender, Discovery and Range Rover SUVs over an issue with the driver’s airbag, which may not deploy in the event of a crash.

The first major recall of 2026 for Jaguar Land Rover affects more than 170,000 of the automaker’s SUVs and involves an issue that may cause a loss of drive power.
