Mazda has added standard features while holding the line on pricing for its 
 2018 Mazda3 compact sedan and hatchback.
 

Mazda's CX-5 was redesigned for 2017, but it gets safety and mileage 
 improvements for 2018, along with a small price increase.

Genesis, Hyundai's nascent luxury brand, topped J.D. Power and 
 Associates' influential Initial Quality Study — and Hyundai itself, plus 
 affiliated brand Kia, filled out the podium.

It will feel like spring in much of the country this weekend and that could 
 bring out new-car fever for a lot consumers.
