Recalls in the auto industry are common. Not up to speed? Not to worry. 
 Here are some of the most significant recalls we covered from March.

One more death is linked to the faulty Takata airbag inflators. Honda 
 announced today that the owner of a 2002 Civic died after sustaining 
 injuries from a driver-side airbag rupture when the Civic crashed in 
 Arizona.

Approximately 16,500 model-year 2013 Hyundai Veloster hatchbacks 
 equipped with turbocharged 1.6-liter engines are being recalled.

Approximately 19,100 model-year 2017-19 Alfa Romeo Giulia sedans and 
 model-year 2018-19 Stelvio SUVs are being recalled.

Approximately 56,100 model-year 2015-19 Volkswagen Golf SportWagens, 
 Jettas, Golfs and Tiguans are being recalled for rear coil springs.

Mazda added a new Signature trim level to the CX-5 for 2019, and that's

According to a just-released report from the National Insurance Crime 
 Bureau, auto thefts due to keys left in the car are on the rise.

Approximately 22,600 model-year 2017-18 Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-
 AMG C-Class coupes and cabriolets are being recalled.

Hot on the heels of its Model Y announcement, Tesla has some new 
 competition from a cross-state rival, plus an updated referral program and 
 a few reportedly new software updates.
