2025 Toyota Sequoia

Toyota is recalling approximately 394,000 examples of its Sequoia SUV and Tundra pickup truck over an issue with the multimedia system display.

There are lots of choices among the cheaper-to-buy-and-drive mid-size SUVs that, when properly configured, can safely tow at least 5,000 pounds.

Shopping for a three-row SUV means balancing priorities of seat quantity versus comfort. If the number of seats trump all, many three-row SUVs offer a second-row bench, but other models give up the second-row middle seat for captain’s chairs.

For the 2025 model year, Toyota has made some small changes and added a trim level to its biggest SUV, the Sequoia.

New for the 2025 model year is a 1794 Edition trim level, an homage to the Texas factory where the Sequoia is built; the facility occupies the former site of a ranch that was established in 1794.
