Not the best but not the worst

Bought a brand new 2020 Acura Rdx aspec and I must say that I'm a little dispointed. First off the brakes started squeeking after 3500 miles which for me is unexceptable. Brought it to the delearship and they advise that this was an issue on the 2020 model. They've change the front and rear brakes. Everything was awsome until the next week when the brakes started squeeking again. It stops after a minute or so but still it's annoying. The stop engine at a red light never works. Delearship told me that the battery needs to be fully charge in order to work and many other factors may cause this technology to fail. I use the car everyday and in perfect weather conditions an still it doesnt work. White noise coming out of the speakers after the car has been stop for over half an hour. This may drain the battery. Last but not least, okay our roads here in Canada are not perferct but still this car is suppose to be a smoothe ride and I have notice some rattles from the dash and the hatchback which can become annoying. I turn up the music volume which is not great in order to block the rattles. Other than this it rides great. Not the best fuel effecienty but I guess this is not the reason you buy an rdx. Comfort and performance are great and the sound system is incredible. Overall if you don't mine the cons go for it. I've learn to live with it but pretty sure i'll be giving back this car after the lease and maybe before.

New Purchase

New car purchase so reliability is to be determined. Other cars considered were Subaru Forrester, Mazda CX 9, Audi QX6, BMW X.3 I purchased the Acura RDX Advance SH version. My choice was based on styling, options for the money, and previous reliability. With that being said, I do feel any of the above choices are also excellent vehicles

doing well so far

I've only had the car for two weeks, so I can not talk authoritatively abut reliability. But it is very comfortable, nicely equipped, and very sporty. I leased the RDX, because I had earlier leased a TLX which gave me no trouble at all throughout the life of the lease.

Beautiful comfortable car

Beautiful luxurious car. I have driver other luxury cars and the Acura RDX offers the most comfortable and smooth ride, and priced affordably in comparison to the Lexus, Infinity and BMW SUV

Luxurious car for affordable price.

This car is extremely nice, very comfortable, stylish and has an Amazing sound system. This vehicle has already exceeded the EPA fuel rating on the buyers guide.

Great Vehicle

Great handling, good speed and comfortable. It’s an overall nice feel behind the wheel. The automatic start and the fact that you can find your vehicle anywhere on the Acura app is amazing and worth it.

Perfect Comfort, Features and Performance

This SUV is the perfect size for us. Very comfortable inside with lots of room. All the safety features you could hope for. The heated seats (front and rear) and the air condition seats are an added bonus. The features available, good looks inside and out, and the excellent build quality make this a great purchase. The price was more than fair considering all you receive. The performance is excellent, considering it is only a 4 cylinder. The transmission shifts smoothly and picks the right gear almost all the time. The steering has more feedback and feel than my BMW 4 series. The brakes are solid and the ride is well controlled. I mostly like the safety features, and you can shut off some of the more aggressive ones. The only weakness is the entertainment system. It loads slow and lags, and the touch pad is too sensitive and difficult to use- very distracting while driving. But the ELS sound system with the Advanced Package is excellent.

2020 RDX Acura is a safe, fun and techy suv.

The RDX has comfortable seats, with lumbar controls. Turning radius is amazing. The get up and go is awesome. Yes, you get what you pay for. After looking at several vehicles- I realized even if you pick out a pretty standard vehicle and add on some other packages/trims your going to end up paying what a luxury vehicle's price is anyway.
