Expert Reviews not accurate
Having done my due diligence before purchasing a Rogue 2018 with S trim package, I had read many expert reviews (truecar, consumer reports, car&driver, etc) that stated the Rogue is under powered. I can attest that is a false statement. I'm sure the engineers did their measurements properly, but they cannot be representative. I have merged into freeway traffic just as easily as any other car and I went up a steep hill (6% grade) just as good as every other car in the the lineup. Reviews state the steering is mushy. That much is true, but it is something easily adjusted to and I would consider that a virtual non-issue. All other aspects of the Rogue expert reviews are positive and so is mine. I love the roominess. The interior layout is intelligent and makes efficient use of space. The infotainment system is just fine. If you want better, then you must get the SV trim package. For reliability, I would rely on Nissan's excellent reputation. I'd recommend the 2018 Rogue no reservations.

Nice vehicle. A little slack on engine punch.
Nice looking, beautiful color. Lacks punch in performance when a/c on. We like the ample head room for tall persons. Beautiful interior and nice storage area in rear. Like back up camera and side encroachment feature.

This car is the perfect size for picking up the girls from softball practice to road trips with my wife to a solo drive to the beach. Everyone has plenty of room and it?s comfortable and stylish and feels great to drive.

I leased one for two days
I had the opportunity to drive one for two days, something I would never purchase. I am 5'2" the first problem I had after coming from a Honda CRV was height of the seat; the second was not being able to see over side mirror; the gas and brake pedals are close together; finally obstructions in the rear view mirror from the head rests that give limited views from behind. All in all I am glad I tried one but would not buy one for those very reasons.

Now a Rogue owner
The Rogue rides rougher, noisier and less power than the 2013 Altima. I would reccomend the Rogue but disliked the engine noise due to a lack of power.

Another Nissan good value
The 2018 Nissan Rogue SV is my 3rd Nissan product. I have 1100 miles on it so far and love it. I test drove and researched cars for 6 months before deciding on the Rogue. This includes BMW, Audi, Mazda, Ford, Mercedes, Acura, and yes, Honda CRV to name a few. I really didn't expect to like the Rogue due to the car reviews (car and driver, motor trend, etc). BMW, Audi and Mercedes, while nice, have nothing on this Rogue, especially at twice the price! If you're cruising at 90 mph and want to get on it, then maybe a BMW or Audi is for you. This 2.5 ltr engine is all I need and I don't find it under powered at all like all the reviews claim. I test drove this car and within a couple of miles I knew it was the one. This feature rich, well priced little SUV is perfect and fun to drive. The Apple Carplay and the voice recognition is excellent. The blind spot monitoring is the best I've seen. The indicator light is located on a plastic piece just inside the window and is highly visible, unlike all the other's I test drove that have the indicator light on the mirrors. Just way more visible. I also love the cloth seats in the SV. It's one of the main reasons I didn't go with the SL. I haven't found anything yet that I don't like about this car. I'm getting 27 mpg around town. The best I have had on the freeway is about 30.5 mpg. Looks like the 33 advertised is a bit overstated. The Rogue may not be for everyone, but I suggest you at least include it on your list to try.
