Safest car on the road... and much more!
Owned plenty of Lexus and Toyota. This is as good or better than any of them. As reliable as a hammer, best safety money can buy, comfortable and practical.

This is my 5th Subaru / 4th Outback
I have always wanted a 3.6L and this is my first 3.6L 6 Cylinder Subaru Outback! Am disappointed with few problems: The front seating is not comfortable and not supportive AT ALL, especial in hard turns the seats will not hold you in place, the seat bed is to short and does not support long legs if you are over 5 feet tall, Also I prefer to site in lower position and this seat does not have the option, the fit and finish on the door panels are weak and flimsy. Storage is not adequate and not in its proper locations. Although I purchased the Limited 3.6L with almost all the Tech options yet it does not offer the wireless charging. The radio speaker system not to impressive (Harman Kardon) I don't care for cause nothing beats BOSE SYSTEMS I have BOSE in my Cadillac Escalade that the system is amazing. For some reason this is my 2nd Outback that has wheel alignment problem right out of the box!!! I always seem to be pulling the steering-wheel/vehicle to the right and my steering is always on a 15-20 degree off and if I don't steer and pull to the right the vehicle drifts way to the left lane and this problem on my two Outbacks. With only 290 miles on the vehicle with a full gas tank I drove it till it displayed that I only have 40 miles to go before running out of gas so I drove it to be precise another 12 miles then stated that I only have 30 miles to empty and parked it while I went to work , 6 hours later to go home and the vehicle will not start, unfortunately I ran out of gas! know I don't know if this was a glitch or its going to be a problem but I will keep my eyes on it. Otherwise I love Subaru especial the Outback cause I keep coming back for more...the ride on this model is very smooth and quit and the road and engine(3.6L) noise is excellent.

Far exceeded my expectations
The car handles very easily, has great pick-up, and all the comforts you would expect in an SUV. All of the controls are easy to use and understand and the car is stylish and beautiful.

The most reliable, comfortable, easy handling car.
A beautiful car with comfort to boot. It has excellent handling. Love the car. Basically it is a replacement of my 2003 Outback that was totaled out, which was irreplaceable to me. This car is the next best thing.

Love Subaru
Just picked up my new 2018 Outback. This is the second Outback I own. I also have a 2017 Forester. As with all Subarus, the new Outback is a comfortable and well thought out vehicle. Performance is excellent as is fuel economy. Subaru was one of the pioneers in AWD and this certainly makes this brand one of the most surefooted on the roads.

A great all around vehicle.
This is the third Outback I've owned and each one is better than the last. It is comfortable, roomy, economical and a great car for the money.

Just purchased
Needs better interior lighting like in the Chrysler town and country. Poor location home buttons put them in visor, and location of hatch button change those three things and it would be perfect. Wife really likes it.

Very Disappointed withA/C
I live in Texas. You have to have great cooling system. I have a 2018 Outback 3.6R. From day one I?ve had a/c performance issues. It?s hard to get the backseat occupants cooled off in Texas heat. Very little output of air in the backseat vents. Took it to the dealer, and it was delivered from the factory with low Freon. Dealer replaced Freon, still hot in this car. I am now having transmission problems. Subaru...buy your car back! PLEASE!
