2005 Acura MDX consumer reviews

My wife commutes 35 MI one way in various N Indiana weather, so we purchased the vehicle for her to use in hazardous weather. got it with 271,000 one owner miles in 2014. The vehicle continues to amaze me with 308,000 on it now and I enjoy driving it instead of my 05 Accord, in winter. Problems: Interior(perf leather) is wearing out, and there is an annoying "Cam Phaser" tick in the drivetrain. Hvac vents have lost the plastic adjusters, but you can't beat the comfortable AWD ride. Just went 150 mi round trip in snow and 5 degrees, no problem. Looking for a newer one or one with less than 200K. Ours looks just like the cars.com 05 photo! Love Honda reliability.

This car is the right size for a family of four. It also is quite luxurious. The best part is it's reliability. This car is one of the best I have owned.

I expected something like a blazer or bronco, well it is an suv, but it was more like a cadillac with design and engineering ahead of it's time for when it was built, an absolute pleasure to drive.

I needed something reliable but didn't have a large budget for a new car. This is a perfect match for me! I owned an Acura Vigor years ago and loved it. It's nice to be back in an Acura again! This has many options and features that surprised me since it is 12 years old! Very roomy, rides nice, love the sound system, yadda, yadda! Nothing bad to say about this car!

The car has everything. Great for hassling people and large items. Very comfortable and has all the gadgets. I purchased the car used and will get another one when this one is ready to bee retired.

For a 2005, the MDX was great. It drove solid, handled great in all weather especially snow. For it's size it had great hauling capacity too.

Nicely Designed ,extremely smooth ride ,fantastic all round visibility and if not one but the most comfortable car I have had pleasure of driving and owning . I believe the Lexus RX is the highest owned SUVs in the USA. This review us for the Lexus RX 350.

The car was in great shape, checked out mechanically, had low miles for an '05, plenty of leg room in front and back. Great find and a great buy.

Wanted to get used Honda CR-V, ended up getting this for a single price. Great car and great value. The dealer was fast and Segrave de was awesome.

The Acura MDX is a very comfortable and quiet SUV with plenty of legroom both front and back. The power seats are comfortable and you can drive this car for long periods of time without getting tired. The stereo system is awesome and the 6 CD changer is a nice option. I would buy another one without a doubt!
