Incredibly reliable, fun to drive

I got my 2004 Acura TSX in July of 2004. After 20 years, 170,000 miles of hard driving, I finally traded it in. It still had good acceleration and I loved the handling. No major repairs in all that time - I've never driven a car that was reliable. Only reason I traded it in was something bigger for the family, and AWD for the upper Midwest winters. Fantastic car!

2004 ACURA TSX 350,000 miles STILL RUNNING GREAT

I've been very happy with my 2004 Acura TSX with 350,099 miles! The 1st owner was a family member whom had to buy a truck for work & so I ended up buying the Acura off of them! Love this car & I have only had to buy a alternator, battery, ball joints on each side in front, of course tires every 2 1/2 - 3 years! The radio works only for 3 minutes once I push the power button, #1 & #6 button all @ the once time & then press #2 & as I said then hear the radio for 3 minutes! I can turn up the radio volume really loud & once the radio goes off I can hear threw the speakers very a faint sound of whatever station you have before the radio turned off! Other then that this car is the best car that I've ever had!

ACURA TSX AMAZING CAR

ACURA TSX IS THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED!! I bought her in 2009 with 75,000 miles she now has over 220,000. I have done maintenance and a few repairs. My certified Honda/ Acura mechanic says she will go forever. Simply amazing car for the money.

Best car I've owned

Bought it in 2004 as a certified used car. Someone returned it to the dealer after a lease within 5 mo. It may be cost me $1000 in repair for the first 15 years. Not many repairs under warranty either, just a very reliable car. My six speed manual is fun to drive and performance to accelerate quickly great. If you forget to shift, you can end up going 55 mph in third gear. Still in use and only recently I replaced drive shafts as a precaution. You could say that is major repair or just maintenance after 16 great years. Everything still works except for the lights in the radio.

Staarting to show its age.

Hard to find a full size car with a manual transmission i.e. one with clutch, brake and gas pedals... When I bought the car it had a flat tire, and driver's headlight did not work. The dealer put the spare on for me but did not bother to properly inflate it... could have caused an accident. Found out the headlight was not a simple fix. Had to remove front bumper cover and replace Hid parts. On line found parts for about $100 and did labor myself. Could have been very costly. Also the heater control and radio lights had a mind of their own randomly going off and on...therefor you could not tell radio station or see climate control settings most of the time. Bought kit to install radio and new climate controls. This was another $300 plus $90 radio. Lucky for me I was also able to do the labor myself again. There are also some front end parts that probably need some attention. What do you expect from a 14 year old car and a fly by night dealer. P.S. Several of the bumper cover fasteners were missing and it had markings leading me to believe it was not original.

Its a luxurious honda buy this instead of a german

Its an extremly comfortable car to drive.handles well through the turns, plenty of power, 28 mpg city 34 ish highway premium gas. The interior is conveniently layed out and very comfortable. Good sound system. The navigation has been outdated for a few years and it shows a bit. Keep in mind that this 2.4L does tend to burn oil so have a professional look into that before you buy one of these. These cars can really suck a lot of oil in rare ocations. Other than that theyre golden. Its a honda accord with all the luxury accommodations of a Mercedes-Benz without the high initial price tag, obsurd maintenance cost, tow bills, and depreciation. If you somehow stumble on this review and are thinking of buying any german car just dont do it. Please. For the sake of your mechanic's receding hairline and your wallet dont do it. Really do buy any honda acura toyota lexus and even hyundai is ok. Not nearly as good but ok. So yeah but the 04 acura tsx.
