What Is the 2025 Audi E-Tron GT?
The Audi E-Tron GT is a five-seat electric luxury sedan that squares off against posh electric-vehicle rivals such as the Tesla Model S, Lucid Air and Porsche Taycan, with which the E-Tron GT shares a basic platform. There’s no doubt the E-Tron GT has a head-turning shape; it looks like a concept car that rolled off an auto show floor directly onto public roadways. For 2025, both the base and higher-performance versions get significantly more power, a larger battery and a slight name change. The previous E-Tron GT is now called S E-Tron GT, and the previous RS E-Tron GT adds a “Performance” suffix. Both versions come standard with dual-motor all-wheel drive; the S E-Tron GT makes 670 horsepower (up 147 hp over the 2024 version), and the RS E-Tron GT Performance makes a whopping 912 hp — a boost of 275 hp over last year.
What’s New on the 2025 Audi E-Tron GT?
In addition to the changes mentioned above, the E-Tron GT family receives a number of updates for 2025. The standard air suspension has been retuned to better control body motions, and styling tweaks include new bumpers front and rear, as well as new wheel designs. The RS E-Tron GT Performance receives new optional forged carbon-fiber trim on the bumpers and mirrors as well as inside the cabin, on the doorsills and dash. RS E-Tron GT Performance buyers can choose from an available carbon-fiber roof or a new electrochromic glass option that can vary its opacity at the touch of a button.
How Much Range Does the 2025 Audi E-Tron GT Have?
The S E-Tron GT’s EPA-estimated driving range is 294 miles with 21-inch wheels and 300 miles with 20-inch wheels. The RS E-Tron GT Performance’s EPA-estimated driving range is 278 miles.
How Long Does It Take to Charge the 2025 Audi E-Tron GT?
The E-Tron GT’s charging times range from an estimated 12 hours on a standard 240-volt Level 2 charger to as little as 18 minutes on a 350-kilowatt DC fast charger (to go from a 10% charge to 80%).

Should I Buy the 2025 Audi E-Tron GT?
The Audi S E-Tron GT and RS E-Tron GT Performance are among the most dazzling vehicles of the EV world, and their updates and substantial power infusion for 2025 make them even more desirable — and, perhaps not surprisingly, significantly more expensive. Cabin trim is excellent thanks to the quality of the materials used, as well as the high-tech look and feel of the dashboard. Getting three people in the backseat, however, will take dexterity, and the trunk is teeny-tiny for a luxury sedan. The driving range of every E-Tron GT version is decent considering the power and performance on tap but falls well short of the rival Lucid Air and Tesla Model S.
