Best purchase I ever made

This is an amazing car for the price I got it for. My first adult purchase and I couldn't be anymore satisfied. Very reliable and classy looking car

Luxury car without the luxury price

Last year I bought a 10 year old 2006 Buick Lucerne CSX with only 9,500 miles on it. The previous owner took excellent care of it. The Northstar V-8 is very powerful and is a fun car to drive. Have not had any issues. I was in Europe recently and rented a brand new Audi A5. No comparison. I'd take the 10 year old Buick over that anytime. Beautiful car all around. My next car will be the Buick LaCrosse.

Really good reliable car

Really spacious car and it rides very smooth. Never really gave me any problems. Very reliable car. It runs like a champ. Drove it with snow tires on when I couldn't drive my BMW through the snow blizzard

Luxury and Dependability

This car has enough driver side leg room for a 6'4" man and adjusts to a 5'4" woman. It fits three car seats in the back seat with LATCH or belt use. The car rides smoothly and has amazing traction. I only sold it because I needed a truck!

Never buy another car that's not a Buick.

I recently bought my 06 Buick Lucerne and it is the best car I have ever owned. The drive is smooth, great handling. I bought the CXS version so I have all the bells and whistles that go along with it and totally love the car. I get around 25 mpg highway which I feel is great for a V8. Mine is silver and chrome outside and beautiful dark wooden trim and the heated black leather seats with the sunroof which goes all the way back or raises up in back makes this car one of the best looking cars on the road. Only issue, which is not a big issue, is the the bar between the front window and the passenger window block a little of the view as you turn. Other then that, this is the best car I have ever owned and I am totally happy and will never own another car not name buick.

It has to be a Buick

I bought this car to replace my 1997 Buick Lesabre in which the engine went bad, because of antifreeze leaking into it. I was considering the Lacrosse, but was told the Lucerne was to replace the Lesabre. I like the car, but was disappointed with the power and mileage. I think I should have bought one with the 2.9L engine which may have had more power according to the spec sheets. The V8 would have been an over kill, at least for me. My old Lesabre had plenty of pep, and got around 32 MPG on a trip. I do like the looks of it, and some of the extra features that I did not have on the Lesabre, such as the self dimming mirrors & the back up sensors. However, in my 4 stars for dependability some of those feature do not work; such as the heated & cooled seats. I may get them fixed depending on the cost, after all I did not have them before so I really do not miss them. I probably should have spent more time looking, but I wanted something to replace my Lesabre soon, and it had to be a Buick.

Smooth Ride!

While this may be an "old person's" car, if you want a smooth ride that's comfortable to drive, this is it! The series III 3800 is a work horse engine that is returning in the low to middle 30's mpg on the hwy and upper 20's around town. IF you opt for the front bench seat with the shifter on the column over the shifter on the console, the cup holders are a bit awkward as you after to flip down an access cover that looks strange..... then the holes for the cups are a tad too small for the best cups. Other than that, great car. Enough room in the trunk for you and another person to use it as a camper on long trips! (LOL)
