Great buy

I have own 2 of these vehicles and do not plan on leaving. The engine has lots of potentially power/mileage ratio. It pulls great and in winter is a beast. Love this car ๐Ÿš—

Darn Good Auto

Always starts and runs. I really like the shifter in the center console. Has keyless entry and starts with the FOB that I don't have. A really fun car to drive.

Was the best most smooth riding car ever owned that never gave one single issue in the 50 years itโ€™s been owned but I hate to get rid of her

Torque converter wiped out at 125,000

Pretty quick , handling is shady with torque steer, overall fun to drive. I do not believe in cylinder deactivation, uses oil. Motor shouldn't have been toned down so much and it should be a rwd car.

Best Car I've ever owned

I used to lease this vehicle until GM quit making it so I purchased my last one. She's been the most dependable car I've ever owned. I love everything about Monte Carlos and don't regret 1 moment of ever owning one over an SUV (in Michigan winters).

bad 5.3 motors

only 129,000 on motor and might have to be replaced. gm knows the issues on the 5.3 motors and will not back them or help with replacing them.
