Bought my 2016 trax in 2019 with 7700miles on it.

Bought my 2016 trax in 2019 with 7700miles on it. Cheap car loaded with cheap parts. $ 20,000. 2 years in, new brakes $600.00, new tires,$605…00. Last year catalytic converter and pipe behind it $'1700.00. 3 months later rear muffler went, $ 500.00. now a pipe in front of catalytic converter $ 450.00. mileages ranged from 44,000 to 50,000. I should have gotten an equinox Instead. I would not buy one again or recommend it to anyone.

I have a 2016 Chevy Trax LTZ and the turbo charger has gone out. My comment is Why there was a Recall for the 2017 and not the 2016. My car has been in the shop for two weeks and I was informed that It would Cost me 1800 dollars to get fixed, I disagree with me having to pay that money because if it was a Recall why wasn't my car included. I'm Retired and I can't afford to pay to get it fixed. I really would appreciate getting some more information on what I can do to Resolve this matter. I've been a Chevy owner for a long time. I'm not happy with the performance of my car.

It was great.

It was great.... until it wasn't. 3 water pumps later, and on it's way to a 4th, I had to replace the car as it wasn't worth putting any more money in. Drives great, loved my interior, but once I hit about 80,000 miles, it was constantly leaking coolant, replaced the coolant system, within 20,000 miles, it needed another, and after about 15,000 more, it was on it's way to another water pump, burning and leaking oil.

2016 Trax.

2016 Trax... catalytic converter is bad. Vehicle has been very well maintained. The whole touchscreen system doesn't work except for 1 radio station. The vehicle only has 53K on it. Very disappointed.

This is the worst car I've ever had!

I've had nothing, but problems since I bought the car. Transmission, engine misfire, paint peeling, parts constantly breaks on the car. The car is serviced timely, flushes, oil changes, etc... It doesn't make a difference. It's a horrible car. I can't wait to get rid of it. Chevy has definitely went down.

Why Mexico made traxx cost more to repair

Our 2016 chevy trax ,the radio sucks, it keeps changing stations on its own and locks up were you can't do anything, plus don't understand why the ones made in Mexico the brake parts are so costly, why can't any of the part interchange

Wouldn't recommend

I bought my 2016 Chevy Yrax new from the dealership in January 2017 and at first I loved it. Then the issues started (about EIGHT warranty claims in a year or so.) Now it's well out of warranty but has had plenty of issues since off and on. Then when I take it in to be assessed it often will act fine so they can't find the issue. Long story short, NEVER buying a trax again...anyone I talk to including mechanics has recommended against them (wish I knew that before I bought it.)
