Great Rental Car

Rented touring version from National/Alamo, drove it 1900+ miles in 10 days. Much better gas mileage than rated, if you're not a lead-foot. 4.0 engine has good pick-up, the transmission is solid (down Mt. Mansfield in Vermont in 1st gear was a treat), good braking. Body sway on hard cornering is a minus, also very poor dash configuration and miniscule pushbutton A/C and audio controls. Overall a very comfortable ride.

An Excellent Choice

I was looking to replace my large sedan with something a bit larger. I need space for my daughter, me and cargo. I looked at several minivans and SUV's but kept coming back to the 2007 version of the Pacifica. The new engine and 6 speed Autostick addressed some power and technology concerns I had. I also appreciated the repackaging of features (Stability control, curtain airbag, etc) as standard. It handles, performs and rides extremely well. In addition, I continually beat the EPA ratings by a substantial margin--without being a "delicate" driver. I recommend considering the Pacifica!

The best CUV on the market

My 2007 Chryslers Pacifica signature series is simply spetacular. I strongly recommend this car for those consumers shopping for a crossover vehicle that provides good performance and looks stylish. There is also ample interior space for 4 people. The combination of the new 4.0L engine with 6-speed transmission (plus autostick) is the right one for a vehicle of this size and weight. The vehicle has many safety features. This car is worthy every single penny.

Electrical and rear vision problems

We own a 2004 Pacifica. We had grown weary of the minivan but were not ready for a sedan yet. We loved the looks of the car and we got lots and lots of compliments from strangers who loved the looks of it too! However, after driving the car for a few years, we must confess that we have had lots of electrical problems with the vehicle. Most of it occurred under warranty, but it is causing us to consider trading to another vehicle now that the warranty is up. It also has terrible sight lines when backing up or parallel parking. I cannot deny that the car is awesome looking and a very comfortable ride but unless they have resolved the other issues, I cannot see myself purchasing another Pacifica. Great car, but be aware of its shortcomings.

Love it!

Absolutely, love it. No doubt about it. It's an amazing vehicle. You get so much for the money. It rides like butter. The heated back seats, DVD, 6 CD changer, XM radio and rear back up assistance alert system add the right amount of pizazz for a family of four with children ages 17 and 9. It's the perfect vehicle for us. These features offer something for everyone;especially, the rear back up system for our 17 year old daughter who recently received her drivers license. The safety features; coupled with the entertainment features was a no brainer for us. I'm extremely pleased with this vehicle.
