Still loving this car

Now at 298,000+ miles, and the only "major" fix was replacing the clutch at 209,000 miles. That's it. We kept up on all the tune-ups, like clock-work, didn't grind the gears when shifting gears, and nary a hitch. Looking forward to my next 100,000 miles.

Best Car I Ever Owned In All Honesty

Bought a 2007 Caliber SE with the 2.0L engine paired with the CVT transmission 4 months ago with 116,563 original miles on it for $1200 used from a private seller. Did the usual oil change, fresh plugs and wires and till this day she runs flawless with no dashboard lights on. I've haven't had a single issue with this vehicle and I daily her from very small distances to much farther ones with no issues and the fuel economy is great I have no complaints and it is a comfy, quiet ride with wonderful a/c and a very nifty sound system with just enough OOMF to rock out while driving. It's decatted, has a aftermarket exhaust now on with more stuff being added little by little and it's turning out to be a wonderful experience. Power wise yes the CVT isn't ideal to lots but when you floor it it engages spot on and you'd be surprised how responsive and how quick the Caliber can be. Sure, having a R/T or SRT4 is sure sweet but I love my SE model just as much and I'm contented with what I have. A blast to drive.

Don't buy a 2007 Dodge Caliber

I have a have a 2007 Dodge Caliber that I bought in 2017 with 35,000 miles on it. Now in 2019 it has 43,000 miles and is undrivable because of a rusted through back frame. Don't buy a Dodge !

Better than walking

It's made of plastic and gets a whopping 17 miles per gallon. It doesn't drive smooth and the brakes aren't sensitive. The aux and volume are wonky and the car is overall unreliable.

So far, one of the best cars I’ve owned.

I like the fact that it is roomy, it’s got a great design. Great on the road, and great mileage. I couldn’t be happier.❤️❤️ Love my Dodge and it’s my first one!
