2007 Dodge Caliber consumer reviews

This is a fun and reliable vehicle. Nice family car, my daughter enjoyed riding in it. Great for a first time driver or a driver who is slowing down in life, yet still wants to be able to do some errands.

Bought my 2007 Caliber STX 10 years ago with 25,000 miles. It now has 205,000 miles and the 2.0 L engine still runs like a sewing machine with minimal repairs along the way. I change the oil every 4,000 miles and it treats me right. Steering is tight, no rattles. I'm 6'3" and fit comfortably in the drivers seat. I've read reviews of the Caliber stating other's in its class are better but personally I don't know how that's possible.

Very nice car to drive, very comfortable lots of leg room. I just wished it had cruise control. Fuel effecient.

I love this car, but it doesn't have cruise control for me. It's very comfortable, and dependable. Have not had any major problems with it.

I bought this car when I was still in high school, eleven years later, I finally traded it in. Over the years it definitely got me from point A to point B but there was definitely some frustration during the process. There was only about 82, 000 miles on the car. The amount of money and work that had to go into it was ridiculous. It was a great car, but a lot of money went into the car. Probably more than it was worth.

Got what i expected and paid for and more, i used this car long distance drive , 500 mi + still worked perfectly with no issue

I bought this vehicle before I left for college and I've only owned it for 3 months, but I can thoroughly say that this is an extremely reliable car with great gas mileage. I get around 25mpg when I drive sensibly. It's a very sporty looking vehicle and it has many great features. Seats are very comfortable, there is a built-in drink-cooler in the glove box, the glove box has two compartments: top and bottom, and there's a pop-out flashlight in the trunk area. Overall, I also find it very safe, with there being an airbag under the steering column to protect the driver's knees. There are a few blindspots but the mirrors are very good in making those blindspots visible.

Despite being hit four times (3 while parked), it never suffered any damage to the unibody. It had 'first model year' issues with the auxiliary computer that should have been a recall! The front control arms should have been made stronger. Approaching 200,000 miles and expecting it to last at least 300,000. No issues with rust.

This car was good until 113900 miles on it and stuff is falling apart can't fix it to much money to fix and can't keep up on fixing it I need between 1000 to 500 down on a new car so this money would help me a lot :)
