Great Buy
I got this car for my daughter and for the price and reliability it works for all of us. Besides regular wear it is a great little car.

Not horrible, but not family friendly
The front seats were comfortable and not bad as a single person or married couple, but once you add children, there's really no room for them and all that goes with kids. In the 3 years I had it, there weren't many issues that couldn't be fixed with general maintenance and caused by normal wear and tear, just not good for a growing family.

Great Little Car!
I picked up a 2011 Caliber after having my mechanic give it the blessing. It had only 24000 miles on it, and was a salvage rebuild, but I knew that going in. Got 29 MPG on my way from Richmond, VA to Wilmington, DE, and that was on bad tires. They will be replaced soon. It's got a little road rumble, but that's mostly from the bad tires. Other than that, a great car for not a lot of money!

Love at first sight .. But that quickly changed
My caliber is candy apple red and is a real looker inside and out . i bought the car with 78k miles 3 years ago once i hit around 88k everything started going wrong i replaced the battery in the car three times now the entire front end was (had to be ) replaces control arms sway bars axels everything all from what they say is normal ware and tare. Even after replacing those things the car never drove the same again. Right at 100k miles the transmisson has gone out not only that but its hard to find a place to do a transmission on that car which makes it very pricy .. 3 years ago i would of said it was the best car i have even owned but truth is i wish i had never gotten it .. STAY AWAY

Love it and hate it.
Car looks fantastic and inside is very comfy with lots of room. Sucks for going in reverse when backing out, lots of blind spots. Love sitting up high like an suv while still being compact size. Gas mileage though is pathetic, Dodge should be ashamed of themselves. My other car had same size engine and i got 500km on a full tank wheres the Dodge has a larger tank and I'm only getting a little over 400km, would return it on this issue alone but love the drive so I'm torn.

Reliable and great gas mileage
At 107k miles I've had to have a few spark plugs replaced, and new tires. ( expensive low profile tires) . The car has been reliable.

High Caliber Hatchback!!!
We were looking for a replacement for our 2003 PT Cruiser. We wanted a vehicle that would get me too and from work and then get us too and from our fishing and hunting spots on the weekends. The Caliber delivers!!! It has plenty of room for gear and kids, averages 24mpg and hasn't required anything but routine maintenance in 52k miles.

avoid this car like the plague
Worst car I have ever owned. Car has been a money pit. Got it used with 60000 miles, drove ok for about a year, then everything started to break. So far I've replaced the transmission, alternator, battery, starter, electric motor throttle, and brakes. As I write this review I'm sitting in it waiting for a tow truck because it won't start due to an unknown electrical problem. I really did like this car at first, had nice body styling and was fun to drive. But with the amount of money I've dumped into it, and what I've heard from the mechanics that have worked on it, I suggest you look at something else.
